The fact box at 3:42 incorrectly identifies George Kirby as Ryan Borucki, but shout out to Mariners pitcher Ryan Borucki! George Kirby was drafted in 2016.
I guess he was technically drafted in 2016 by the Mets in the 32nd round, but he opted out of signing to go to college. He was then drafted in 2019 three years later by the Mariners in the 1st round.

The announcer is not lying when he said that Blue Jay fans invade Seattle when they play at T-Mobile Park. From what i can tell, as the Blue Jays are the only Candadian teams, they basically have the entirety of Canada as their fanbase, so whenever theres a Blue Jays game, all the Blue Jays fans from British Columbia seem to invade the stadium. Im not sure if this is common in other host ballclubs relatively close to the border, but its certainly true in Seattle.
Amazing game all around. My kind of baseball. I get tired of home runs or strikeouts. Sitting at ground level behind 1st base with my son and his pal. What a treat and this game had it all. 21 hits, 4 stolen bases, a couple of hilarious blunders but a couple of stellar defensive plays as well. Base running is the most fun in baseball and there was action every inning. Capped with that one memorable home run in the bottom of the 11th. Hey, I think I counted 3 guys actually square around to bunt! That's not something you see every day any more. But jeez, get that automatic guy off of 2nd base in the extra innings.
