Ik, man Zimmer is crazy and he loves his job and when Nolan comes to you and tells you that you need to make something that will stay forever with the viewer, listener, etc you need to come with something unique and Hans did it. idk how when he didn't even knew about the project not even Nolan cuz he had no script. But they did something amazing together.
This music will be remembered as one of the best soundtracks in movie history.

Background? I think the score was just as prominent as the acting, as any good score should be.
Hmmm. I agree Zimmer is great but it also a bit repetitive. This piano version is edited by the video-owner and I find it a better version of the original. The OST is nice, but not the best for the criteria of nowadays.

It explains how much beautiful this universe is.
It explains the vast stretches of time.
It explains reality.
It explains love.
I don't know why but this piece sounds like the end of pain and the beginning of a storm which we are not even going to feel. And I always have tears in my eyes whenever I hear this. 😢

Interstellar, was the first movie I watched with my dad when he came back after leaving my mom and I when I was only 4 years old. After a lot of blaming, insults, and quarrels, after raising my voice and shutting doors in his face, our relationship finally started to improve and we started to get closer.
On April 27, 2024, he suddenly died. How could he die like that when I'm only now starting to get to know him? I began to get used to his presence in my life. I felt happy and reassured, and he left without warning, as he had done in the past. Why does life have to be like this?

Jack Rehium That movie was awesome and i Love it, but as far as we know, its not possible to even reach a black hole, and even it is possible, we would die immidiately if we reach the Event Horizon of it
Jack Rehium some scientists say that you can make into black holes without getting stretched like a spaghetti...if you revolve around the black hole and then make your way into it then they are higher chances of not getting stretched and torn multiple times. But that penny thingy will definitely take your life. Personally, I would never dare come close to black hole no matter how much I wanna die. 😲

Why does the emotion change so much with just a different instrument? It sounds more fragile on piano. I absolutely love this cover.
that's very often the case with minimalistic pieces like this one. how you actually present the music is 90% of the track :) and Hans Zimmer is just a genius, he knows exactly how to take simple emotional ideas and create something gigantic with them

I like this movie a lot too, but I am very certain that although it was a good movie otherwise too, I would not even feel half the same with a very bad/nonexistent soundtrack.

Chris Nolan actually told Hans to compose a soundtrack that signifies the relationship between a father and his daughter and this was what Hans came up with. And crazily enough, this theme is just so perfect to signify the emptiness of space and the weight of carrying the hopes of an entire civilisation on you. Bravo Hans!

Wonderful music and performance. Everytime I hear this song it makes me cry like a baby ... thinking at my daughter, just like the main character, how she's growing, such a full world of melancholia, sadness, hope, joy, infinite love, it makes me thinking about greatness of universe and how tiny and insignificant we all are with our stupid greed and insensivity.
