    Thank you. This helped me with a big square I did earlier this year and had a recent thought of turning it into a pillow case with a zipper. I just need to make another square to attach to the one I have.

    Thank you for this great tutorial! It's my first time making a crochet pillow cover and I wanted to add a zipper because most of my clients have young children, so making it washable makes life easier for them ☺

    That was wonderful. I have been afraid to add a zipper to yarn creations. You made it look so easy.

    By Sylvia! Thank you for a great tutorial. I am always apprehensive to add zippers to anything as I am not a sewer so I like that a liner doesn’t need to be added and can be sewn directly onto to crochet. You are always easy to follow and now I am going to give it a go. Thank you 😊

    This was my first time sewing in a zipper. I always thought it would be difficult but your tutorial helped to see it was pretty easy. I have one suggestion regarding the thread. It would be very helpful to mention you double stranded the needle. I had to look very closely at the video and saw that you were.

      Hi Lori. I'm so glad you found this helpful. I guess I assumed everybody double stranded with regular hand sewing. Oops. Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention.

    I love this, I have always felt like you did that they are decorative pillows and don’t need a lot of washing but, I’ve always wondered if I could sew a zipper in but just never tried it before. I will be trying it now following your direction! Thank you!

    Would it be a bad idea to see the e zipper on with my sewing machine? Or do you think it’s best to do it by hand?

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  10 месяцев назад

      I wouldn't do this with a sewing machine because I believe the yarn would get squashed and flattened. I picture the stitches being too tight and "heavy handed". I used to sew quite a bit so I can imagine the outcome. With hand sewing you can control this better.
