I was in a Unit Boxing tournament. We have all weight categories except light fly which is 48 to 50 kg. Tomorrow is the weighing day and I was 57 kg. That is 9 kg over weight to reduce in 15 hours. I put on very warm clothes and climbed down all the way from the top of the hill to down the plane. It was 12.am when the temperature was above 40°C. I was severely dehydrated and could hear my palpitation thundering. It took less than 40 minutes to reach the bottom of the hill. The problem is I have to climb up again. After every 10 steps I have to lay down to gather my power. After 5 hours of the hardest ordeal I reached my Unit. Without taking dinner and any water I went to sleep. The next morning weighing was done and I was 47.5 k.g. I have cut out 9.50 kg in 15 hours. Although I lost the game as I have no energy left. The big question is Phogat failed to bring down just 100 gram !!! ???? Can't believe it.

This is complete bull. Look at what actually happened. On Day 1 in the Olympics she was weighed and she within 50 Kg, she made the Olympics weight cut. This **proves** she can make the 50 Kgs weight cut. On this Day she fought 3 bouts and won all 3! She did very well at the 50Kg! So stop blaming weight. The actual problem is during the Day she was given too much food and water. _In 1 day she gained 2.7 Kg which is a huge amount_. This is totally wrong to give her so much food and water. This is a one sided story . Vinesh won a quota in the 50kg category in the Asian qualifiers by winning bronze and Antim won the same in the 53kg category. Why should trials happen between Vinesh and Antim for the 53 kg category . They won the quota in April so it makes more sense to continue in the weight categories they qualified for to maximise the chances for India .

This is a one sided story . Vinesh won a quota in the 50kg category in the Asian qualifiers by winning bronze and Antim won the same in the 53kg category. Why should trials happen between Vinesh and Antim for the 53 kg category . They won the quota in April so it makes more sense to continue in the weight categories they qualified for to maximise the chances for India .
