No one has ever given more of himself to the Crimson Tide than Mal Moore, and he did it with love, class, vision, respect and great kindness. His was a life well lived. Rest well, Coach Moore. Roll Tide

Such a fine gentleman. The staff was made up of really good people. Had the opportunity to meet him when he was Athletic Director, he was very gracious.

As long as Mal Moore was athletic director at Bama, you felt good about it because he loved the University of Alabama.

Bear never best ND I. Four try’s . Especially the 1973 Richard Todd team with Willie Shelby . They got beat

All four of those games against ND were decided by 7 points or less. 1973 Sugar Bowl, ND 24, Alabama 23; 1975 Orange Bowl, ND 13, Alabama 11; 1976 regular season, ND 21, Alabama 18; and 1980 regular season, ND 7, Alabama 0. All of those games were hard-fought and unfortunately we lost. Turnovers were key in the 1975 Orange Bowl and the 1976 and 1980 regular season games.
