To solve this problem for the long term and stop further such incidents, let us work towards increasing the standard of education in Tamil Nadu state board. The questions asked are exactly from text book including the numbers for math problems! The Tamil Nadu state board 12th syllabus currently is based on memorizing facts, rather than application of the knowledge to analyze solve new problems . So anyone with just good memory skills can get high marks. If we do not fix this problem, there will be doctors who are not trained enough to solve complex problems. e.g. when you go with a new disease, they will not be able to analyze the situation and provide a solution fast. Let us direct the government to spend money on good schools in rural areas to make students the best and able to crack entrance exams like NEET. So if some one becomes a doctor without being able to succeed in NEET exam like other states people, it is very dangerous for people getting treatment, because diseases are becoming more & more complex nowadays and doctors need to be analytically very capable as well, not just score marks with blind mugging of text book portion. So, what really is the problem is poor state board syllabus in TN. Same for Engineering. Like, if you agree, otherwise pls provide good solutions and options, and not put hate comments to this.

neet exam is necessary. TN govt shud think how to make students equip to face that... all other state except TN has started facing the challenge... quality of students knowledge will really improve when they prepare for neet rather only getting good marks in their 12th exam. if they start preparing for neet, their concepts will be more clear and deep rather than focussing on only scoring marks... these marks may help them to get seat... but they will find very difficult when they start their proffession
before one year itself, they told neet is necessary for mbbs seat. stay was over last year itself. TN politics, are busy in jj death, jallikattu, etc etc... so totally forgot about this stay... kamal is trying to use this as an opportunity against TN govt... when all other state are prepared and equipped for neet, we shud think what to do next... we are cheating ourselves by going against neet.... it will improve the conceptual knowledge.... govt, parents, students, school all shud plan and move forward to face these competitive exams...
neet is just one exam... there are many more highly competitive exams which only our TN ppl cannot face bcoz we are never prepared....
I will go as an interview panelist to iits... I will feel really pathetic bcoz, only TN state students are not able to clear gre, gate etc as others do... only few kids can do theseexams from TN... so please all wake up... stop fighting against that exams... instead get prepared and be ready to beat these exams
