- Whilst cutting the Macrocarpa stumps that I was processing, the Farmer asked if I'd like some OMP on the strength of it (Old Man Pine) to which I replied 'YES', thank you.
He graciously hauled them over to my work area whereby they were swiftly eaten by a hungry 066 'n' 881.

Wow! At the end of this video with all the logs lying around, I'd be pleased to say I've done a decent day's work looking at the end result.
I love your idea of using the Hi-Lift Jack to get the log off the ground, it is common sense to do that but you have inspired me to try this out as well.

You have a good splitter for the High Graded wood that your left with. Its a good thing that your not payin any thing for the wood your left with. Take care Buddy you are earnin every chunk of wood your gettin from that farmer. He would have some expense disposing of the wood your cuttin & haulin out of there. Thanks for the watch
@@danbentsen Yeah, I’ve done the math and I reckon I save about a half to two thirds of the cost of just getting commercial firewood delivered. If I had to pay for the wood it would certainly take the viability out of it for sure!
Yep, body’s not getting any younger, that’s for sure, and that’s a huge part of why I video it, just to make the most of it. Who knows how long I can keep it up for?
