Artists like this should be seen and heard. It's so sad that masterpieces like that are suffocated by empty and meaningless music in charts. Love this song btw.
Billboard has him as the #1 songwriter in hard rock and the #2 producer in hard rock so he is getting the recognition he deserves. He’s the best songwriter since Kurt Cobain imo. I can’t fucking wait for this album!🤘🏻🤘🏻

Probably because they’re using a good quality microphone. Normally, in a live setting it can be difficult to hear if a singer is actually performing well over crowd noises and other instruments.
He's literally using no reverb as well. Actual talent and dedication to craft.
I love his voice. I’ve seen them live a few times now, and he’s always sounded amazing live.
You know an artist/band is REAL when they can perform without computers and editing and have it sound FANTASTIC!

God I told my mom before I die that's my biggest wish in life to meet Shaun Morgan himself. I'd pay 10000000 buck just to visit him in person for 5 min. God bless his soul I'm glad I lived a 2nd life after my accident to see this. The doctors kept telling my mom to let me go and she wouldn't so here I am now. love you shaun

They’re not underrated! They might not be as famous as they maybe could be, but they’re not underrated!
@@pacovl46 nah they are definitely underrated. They are way better and more in tune musicians than most of the bands at the time. Combined with Shaun's absolutely beautiful sense of lyricism and perfectly rasped voice and you had the best band of that Era. The only thing that kept them from being a household name was the record companies and managers they had during the time. They wanted a sound that was their own and the uppers wanted a radio band. And Shaun's longevity with his voice, range, and distortion is unmatched

Lots and lots of practice. Some people have a natural aptitude for it and it will take less time for them.
this song reminds me of the toxic relationship I had with my parents and the blame I felt for not pleasing them. As a musician of 30 years now I still am learning from bands like seether that are incredibly talented.
I became a fan at 18 in 2006 because of One Cold Night...and since that time you guys have been the soundtrack to my life story. All these years later and you guys still kill it. And, not surprisingly, I like this acoustic version even better than the original. You guys never disappoint!

Been a fan of this band for about 15 years. This song is extra special to me. The fact that I have tumors at a young age is very eye-opening experience. Unfortunately those type of things are usually an outcome of stress. Life is very difficult but remember to let things go. From past difficult experiences to people. Let go and forgive. not just for them but for you.

It’s amazing how Seether manages to stay so true to themselves while continuing to evolve at the same time. Just about every modern rock band has that album where they sellout a bit and it’s garbage, but Seether delivers every single time, and only gets better. You can feel the emotion is his voice. Especially in the ending! Typically singers don't go hard in acoustic but it sounds like this song hits home for Shaun. Very well done!
