- Kabasi is back in AFOC, Abu Dhabi, UAE! We have caught a lot of kabasi as bait fish!
Now that kabasi is back in AFOC, there are so many activities to be expected on this fishing spot! As a matter of fact, there were so many seagulls here today and there are so many big fishes lurking near the rocky shore.
Together with my fishing buddy, Mr. Rustam, the action is back here in AFOC. The time kabasi was no longer near the shore, we tried to use bugaong too as bait fish. And you will not believe what big fish we had tried to land in this video!
Bugaong is a small fish with stripe color on it. It is the filipino word for zebrafish. It bites a lot on your line, especially when you are using no. 10 or 12 hooks and tiny shrimps as baits.
Kabasi, on the other hand, is bigger than bugaong. Kabasi is the filipino word for "Bloch's gizzard shad." These bait fish is so famous here in AFOC as this fish is one of the most favorite bait fish for King fich.
