My favorite thing in HC episodes is reading the chat, like a bunch of little side stories that you can match to other hermits videos. Gives a good time reference.
Most of the Hermits: "Starting to upgrade gear to Diamond. Might venture soon to farm up resources."

to be fair, it takes like... 15 minutes to build a ianxofour raid farm if you've done it before and know what to do... dude's a genius

look at chronos stacking raid farm, if you want to see what a large and complicated raid farm is.
@@yaminoryuu9558all of ianxofour farms are amazing. He take very complicated farms and bring them to a very good ratio of efficiency to complexity. Like I don't need the strongest most complicated raid farm, but a 15-30 minutes build to be set on emerald for life, that sounds really good.

I like how nearly everyone else is like “I’m gonna take it slow this season” and cub is like “so I beat the game and built ianxofour’s raid farm so now everyone has infinite xp and access to any gear you want”

If you and Doc ever combined your powers I fear you'd be so effective at the grind that a season of Hermitcraft would only be able to last a week.
I am so looking forward to Doc by episode 10 where he autocrafts every single block he needs in the game and sets up a huge shopping center that doesn't even have any price on the items because the time you spend looking around is time enough to recraft any stock you might take

What’s crazy is that this is Cub playing casually. Cub’s casual playing is like a normal person’s super-speedrun.
You really can see how much Speedrunning has affected the way Cub plays in this season, I'm sure this is his way of taking things slow but he's already going 5 times faster than almost every hermit with the exception of 1 or 2.
The Pearl, Tango, Etho, Cub neighborhood seems like a powerhouse ngl, even more than the ministry or ministers and magic mountain put together.

I don't know why but the music you used during the shopping spree once you had all those emeralds made me laugh, i love it. It just has perfect "i am Mr Big Moneystacks and i have just rolled up in your town with my gold-plated everything and comically overstuffed wallet, watch me as i swagger into your shops and power the economy for the next 6 months, cha-ching and goodbye!" energy. So silly.
Also GG on the dragon fight! And Etho's fighting the wither... it truly is Week Two on Hermitcraft isn't it ^^

Cub building an entire raid farm off camera is the text book definition of “I did a little grinding off camera.” How did he get that done so fast in the third episode?
Cub is same grinder category as Doc
Ianxofour's raid farm is pretty quick and cheap to build. Even with the crafter add-on it wouldn't have taken cub more than 2 hours at most.

So, essentially, the 4 end crystals are never going to get taken out of that barrel. The next person also has to leave 4 end crystals for the person after them, so they might as well use their own.
Yeah, I don't really get the 'leave 4 end crystals' bit, it seems pointless
If you forget to bring end crystals they'd be handy! You'd still want to make another trip later to refresh the supply but if there's always a set there you can finish killing the dragon for your video or whatnot and then switch to end crystal gathering later

Since You've a head start on the competition might as well do Ian's copper farm in the nether void -+ the whole oxidizing with farm. Hermits love their copper!
Finally someone uses bundles for something other than TCG! Most people just complained about them not solving literally every inventory problem and only tried version 1 of them so they just gave up on them before giving them a genuine try. Cub, if you want to level up your bundle game, make sure to have one empty (or just mostly empty) bundle in addition to your bundle you're planning on using for stuff. Then you can cycle the items from one bundle directly into the other, instead of temporarily filling up your inventory while digging though trying to get the thing you want out. Alternatively, just keep a barrel or couple chests near the top of the bundle so you can put them down, have plenty of room to sort through everything, then pick it all back up, no problem.
Also, don't forget the wide array of things you can fit in a single bundle. So many blocks you'd keep at your base. A crafting table, a stonecutter, small furnace array, an anvil, grindstone, a whole enchanting setup if you want. If you want you can also have a clock, compasses, maps, logs and other useful compressed blocks for crafting with. I say go all in, I had so much fun in my world with them once I really tried making the most of them.

@@TheOnlyName and I completely blanked on probably one of the biggest things you can carry with one: an ender chest. By a certain point I think pretty much all the hermits are carrying around an enderchest on their person, so being able to fit in that enderchest plus some other things that are useful sometimes, all into one slot, is a no-brainer
Most other hermits: "We're gonna be chill this season, less grinding and building"

I found Cub just lately and I'm so impressed how he handels SMP. He is so good, but makes sure that everyone else can enjoy the game too, humble and funny!

I have never seen the dragon dealt with in that way before. Very cool to watch. You said some do it with less beds, but I still thought that was awesome!
Glad to see the hermits embracing the bundle! I've had them in my survival world for years, I always keep one in my inventory and one in my ender chest for all those bits and bobs!
Huzzah to the good nether. Love your enderman hunting skills. Learned something new. The gentleman’s agreement seems very good community behavior. I can’t wait to use the eye of ender technique (writes in New Notebook, “Things learned from Cub, Season X”)

I believe you could wax the copper bulbs in the iron farm so they will not oxidize.
Cub, I think you should've left the end crystals in the end in case some hermits get to it through another stronghold.

The single cycle bed fight with the Dragon was amazing ! so fast! Also the raid farm and the shopping spree in the end was nice.
2no2name has a new video that shows how to make regen beacons 2x faster with a redstone clock deactivating/reactivating the beacon at the right time. Could be good at that raid farm!

Probably an unpopular tip, but that Emarld Farm can also be used to produce a little extra Iron. Smelt those Iron Axes and use the Crafter to turn those new Nuggets into Ingots.
Easy way to use those extra Iron Axes (and technically a portion of those sticks too).

You can honeycomb the copper bulbs to keep them from oxidizing, just like the blocks.

Something cool you could do with all those pillager heads would be to make a giant army of statues, inspired by the terracotta army, with note blocks under the heads as like a chest piece, and if you could work some Cub-style redstone magic to power them all you could have a whole army to salute you 😎 HARR!
Nice iron farm. You could turn the poppies into bone meal.
34 for Feather Falling IV is pretty average, it's not a treasure enchantment so the range is 14 - 58 emeralds. The minimum for Mending is 10, so 12 is pretty good. Unbreaking III for 11 is the minimum possible without discounts, so that's great.

Sorry but what is the point of leaving four end crystals for someone else to respawn the dragon? If you are planning to respawn the dragon you will have to leave 4 more, so either way you have to go out and get the materials for 4 new crystals. So technically the 4 you put there will never be used.
It only takes 4 end crystals to respawn the dragon. I'm not sure what your point is. He left the 4 crystals so the next hermit can respawn the dragon when they're ready to fight it.

the perfect epitome of why I don't care about new seasons/new server worlds. within a week or two everyone is fully kitted out, most of the big farms are built, and everyone is back to doing the base building/whatever they were previously doing at the end of the last season.
As a speedrunner it's so fun seeing speedrun strats used on hermitcraft
2No2Name just uploaded a video about how to make your beacon regeneration effect a lot stronger with some very simple redstone to power cycle it, could be fun to show that off at the raid farm.

HOLY CRAPOLA!!! I have know about Bed Cheeseing the Dragon for years now, but holy crap i never realized the magnitude of a bed explosion, that was like almost 1/5th hp per bed... thats BONKERS!!!
Yeah if you get the timing right it can be done in as few as 4 beds!

you can improve the regen beacon, by disabling it for 4 out of 8 seconds. The best way would be to pull out a block on the last layer, to keep all the other effects.
