- Celestial Being's activities have reduced the level of conflict in the world, but there are some who do not welcome this change. Among them is the southern European nation of Moralia, whose economy is based on the arms industry and on private military companies (PMCs). The AEU, whose space development program depends on technological assistance from the PMCs, decides to hold a joint military exercise with Moralia as a show of support.
Celestial Being prepares to intervene in this joint exercise. The crew of their mothership Ptolemaios descend to Earth to supervise the mission, while Setsuna and Lockon receive new weapons for their Gundams. As the Gundam Meisters go into battle against a combined AEU, Moralia, and PMC force of more than a hundred mobile suits, Setsuna unexpectedly encounters a familiar adversary.

It's really interesting looking back at the social and political concerns of 2001-2013ish. I remember then, when PMCs dominated the news and resource wars were considered inevitable.
It's really interesting looking at how much of this remains relevant today.... Russia and WW3 getting ready to begin...
Resource wars are still likely in the future. Some resources are growing more scarce than ever. But running out of fossil fuels is probably not going to happen :P
After 2024, the Russian PMC Wagner is all over East Europe, the Middle East, and Africa again

Good setup episode, building up suspense with Moraila and AEU French forces, slight development for Miss Sumeragi and her past connection plus Setsuna past connection with the enemy pilot
Patrick Caulflower, the only man so immortal he is able to cross dimensions and be a regular in GBN.

Sumeragi seems to become less curvy in season 2, and even less in the movie lol
One of the characters commented that she hasn't been sleeping so good and has lost a lot weight and mass and eats less maybe it's due to stress, pressure and anxiety since she is the celestial being forecaster and basically the leader.

In simple words, politicians trying to upped one anothers, get sabotaged by Celestial Beings, now they try to get Celestial Beings superior Technology.
