- During Celestial Being's intervention in Moralia, Setsuna has been reunited with a figure from his past. His opponent is the mercenary soldier Ali al-Saachez, the same man who once trained Setsuna as a child soldier. Recklessly, Setsuna opens his Gundam's cockpit to confirm his enemy's identity.
Despite this unexpected turn of events, the Gundam Meisters complete their intervention and force the Moralian forces to surrender. Celestial Being tactical forecaster Sumeragi Lee Noriega is troubled by the knowledge that this mission has cost hundreds of military and civilian lives, and more lives are soon lost as a worldwide series of terror attacks begins in response to Celestial Being's activities.

10:43 Ali al-Saachez is a formidable enemy: he does not only have superior combat skills but also good analysis and memory - it has been a whole 8 years since he trained Setsuna and other child soldiers in Krugis, but he still remembers that and is quick to recognise Setsuna's swordplay.
And actually funny how he will lose the fight to Setsuna later on.
