CharminUltra i dont play the character but this was excellent, so i know how to defend against it. I play on switch tho, i havent really lost onlinw yet
Ohh man! Lots of my friends playing Orie also so this is gonna be rough to guard against. but knowing about it is super helpful! Thank you! If you have any amazing mixups and setups with Linne or Es I’d love to see them.
Chiaki Channel havent really found too much without assist. Hyde's back assist leads into shenanigans. One i use alot is lauching with Es, you can do j.A into j.C for a free reset. (They break out after j.1, but the blade effect will hit them the moment they touch the ground) If you jump forward while doing this, she will cross up and her blade effect will hit the opponent. Also if the opponent tries to forward tech, it will still hit them. Another one is on hit with AA, I jump cancel, air dash cancel, into j.C for the reset then B B 2B j.1 into eithrr full combo or j.C as above for the reset again
Hey, great job with this video! Being an Orie / Es player myself, this cross up really helped me in a tournament I had with my friends! I hope you’ll make more tech videos like this in the future.
Yosuke get's a really nice reset after most of his combos as long as you have at least one of your moonsaults left. After ending in slash, you wait until you almost hit the ground and then press C and a multi-hitting, fast assist at the same time. You'll either hit low or you can cancel the j. C into moonsault for the overhead option. This works on back and neutral tech, is safe on forward tech or just generally on block with the right assists and it loops back into it self if you hit the overhead option. The low option just goes into a knockdown that you can chase with an IAD on back tech or just go into basic low/overhead/throw on forward or neutral tech.
Easiest way to beat this though is to just use a reversal, but you could just go for assist lockdown and then wait for their DP/super and punish if you know they like to use their DP on wakeup
Just to let everyone know the first reset is character specific. I tried it on Naoto, but the character kept teching out. Then i tried it on Es and there were no problems. Other characters i suspect this not working on are Yosuke, Linne, and possibly any small or slender body characters that do not have large weapons
I really like these tech videos especially since Orie is on my team. I would love to see some more for other characters too (hopefully Hazama, but I can't be picky). Also, after playing a lot of ranked thought of a video idea. What if you made "How to counter" videos for really common characters, like Gordeau, Ruby, and Es, and gave general tips for how to play around them or show what moves are unsafe in pressure.
Sounds like a good idea, once I get out of training mode and see what people are doing online I think that video will naturally come as I'll need to practice that myself lol. I'm glad you're liking the vids bro.
This is a really useful video, not just because I'm mostly using Orie and Es, but because you're pretty much the leading person for BB Tag tech. I'd love to see more, especially Orie combos since you haven't done that yet. Also, is it just me, or is her neutral kind of weak? Her pressure is great on block, and she's really fun, but she doesn't seem to have good poke or range, compared to say Es or Gordeau
Cool, good to hear you're liking the videos, the combo videos are still coming I just knew about these two items and wanted to share while it was fresh. I've already gotten a headstart on Orie as you can see at the end of the video with the recapture ;).
Orie has a combo with Ragna via 5AAA, 5BBB, Crouching C, EX Divine Thrust+Ragna's neutral Assist and AAA into her super!(though it sometimes seems to not work for some reason..hmm..through testing it, it looks like she needs one less 5B so the enemy doesn't escape the super as the game has a combo limit, at which the enemy can escape easily with a ukemi) hmm it looks like divine thrust has a lot of uses in getting behind the enemy! I can't wait to put that to use!(though it may be a bit difficult however)
This seem like a nice Reset but the Back Tech thing kind of throws things into a Hard Read for the Reset and if they do Back Tech and you end up doing the Light Divine Trust then you have to just to chase after your opponent and guess what their going to which is where the 4 Button Option Select comes in ay..........ayyyyy lol
I find the B divine thrust to cover more options, and I'd assume most people are going to back tech so I'd probably read on what to do the A version and by default use the B. Glad you liked the vid bro.
Hopefully this was helpful and useful. Let me know how you guys feel about these kinds of videos and if you want more. Enjoy.

Orie is my main in UNIEL and I'm rocking her on this game too. It's nice too see this kind of stuff
Thanks for watching bro glad it helped
Excellent video! As an Orie player I'll be sure to practice this.
Glad it was helpful bro. Thanks for tuning in.

I'll check this out when I get back to Yosuke sounds cool.
Helpful video, very much appreciated
Thanks dude, glad you liked it! Appreciate you watching
Finally it came out!!
One of the few there on stream when we found it.
CharminUltra Yeah, and seems like you found more
Just made sure to round it out.

Nevermind, my execution was the issue. Apologies.

I agree with you, Ruby aint that problematic to me but Gordeau is ANNOYING AF

I would think you can always super after 5AAA. But if you've lost too much hitstun then it could drop randomly
Woow that is realy cool mate gg
Thanks bro.
Holy crud, I guess I have to learn how to play Orie now. This seems so good. (And I thought nothing would convince me to play Orie AAAAAAAAAAa)
I'm going to convince you of every character Dynos then what lol.
Then i'm going to have to learn every character LOL

Wait is that her back walk or did you just trick the game into a walking animation?
That’s her back walk
Tricksy Tricksy lol.

Thank you, appreciate the support bro.
