Pat Heath was able to spend some quality time with ESP Signature bass player John Campbell of the mighty American metal band Lamb of God at this year's Bloodstock Open Air Fest. Lamb of God has been touring for their new album Omens, and John's ESP Signature Series bass, the JC-4, had a starring role in this latest collection of songs. Pat and John cover a wide range of topics, from the specifics of John's JC-4 bass to the rigors of touring to the creation of new LoG music to who inspires his bass playing style.
this guy is a gem.... beautiful soul
Omens has me really back into LOG, man what a slamming album, cool atmosphere and just moshable, the whole deal. as an old guy, i love when the older bands come out with a great album. Testament comes to mind, they keep getting better. all these years later, metal is still FUN
I always thought that LTD's were cheapass garbage...I think I will get one these days!
they used to be, way back, but man no more the ltds are mostly fantastic now, better than a lot of high end guitars from other brands, its crazy how nice some of these ltds are
I picked up 2 recently, one from Indonesia and one from Korea. '87 Eclipse NT in pearl white and a te1000 black blast. With the mods I've done to them, I have no desire to spend 3k on an ESP. They both wail quite heavily.
One of the nicest dudes I've ever met (known) in music... SOLID player too! L.O.G. jammers rock!!
I feel somewhat vindicated now that I've seen 2 interviews and some live footage with my LTD te1000 black blast sitting on the stand to the left, and actually being played on stage. It's a nice blend of classic shapes and modern specs for a reasonable price. Hard to get one though.
🤘
Gandalf is real guys.
GOOD MUSIC
Just bought the Campbell JC-4 for my birthday this weekend. My first ESP/LTD instrument. 🎉🤘
what is the title of the song for the opening ?
