I love this car, owned it for about 2 months now and haven’t had any problems. Only thing is yes suspension is super stiff in N mode but you can easily tune it out with custom settings, also the car does wheelhop pretty bad when losing traction 😭
other automakers have softened and muffled their classics but Hyundai have done the opposite with this. enjoy the engine noises, they are going away forever soon in favor of electric cars.
This is very common in many high horsepower FWD cars. Same thing happens with Type Rs, higher trim Accords and Camrys for example although sportier cars like the Ns and the Type Rs have LSDs to help with putting the power down.

easy fix for the wheel hop is a rear motor mount

As a 2019 Veloster N owner, you're not wrong. Incredibly stiff over bumps (painfully so) but a joy to ride and sounds great

Wheel hop, front tires lost traction.
The car has terrible wheel hop when it breaks traction I own the same car.
