Loved your reaction to this ICONIC man, and Band. I was able to see them twice, when I was very young. I love watching new people react to “Journey”, and Steve Perry, “The Voice”. Please dive deep down that rabbit hole. SOOO many songs. One of my all time favorites, is “Lovin Touchin Squeezin”!! Have fun!!🌹🎸
Steve “The Voice” Perry was a phenomenal singer and Journey was one of the greats ..Steve has long since left Journey and the Band still performs with a new guy who incredibly sounds a lot like Steve ..a talent he obtained growing up and copying Steve’s vocals, although in my personal opinion..there will never be another voice like Steve, As for your birthday it’s a blessing to have had another go around the Sun and as birthday’s as I got older got me down, remember all you have accomplished and strive to do even more ..Your Young, beautiful and very kind, may happiness always find you smiling even when the rain falls, as my late wife would say, “Just go dance in the 🌧️ “..
It feels like its been so long since i watched you do a music reaction, yipppeeeeeeeeeee. Any song from this concert is a must hear Irina, but there are also so many other great journey songs that werent part of this show. I hope you react to more from them AND this era. Some other bands from then would be Boston, Styx, Bob Seger just to name a few. Hope your Christmas was perfect and Santa treated you well. ❤ from fla usa
I’m sure you have heard this song be for watching the Bills at the bar it’s a very popular song especially for karaoke ❤ journey has many great songs, also I do think of my own mortality and it is scary but I have peace with my belief in God. GOD BLESS Irina 🙏
All right my fair lady.... I really think that this band was the epitome of Arena Rock back in its heyday. Great band, great song and great reaction ‼️💯🔥🎹🥁🎸🎤😁👍🏻P.S. I viewed your channel a day and a half ago and now I'm a subscriber😊
I really didn't listen to this song either until I heard an interview with Steve Perry, on of all places a S.F. sports station. He is a big baseball fan and two professional teams hadn't won a professional championship in decades. Over the years the teams had come close but it never happened. When first the Chicago White Sox adopted it as their theme song, they won against all odds. Then the S.F. Giants used it twice and they won! Then he told us the story behind the song. Perry and the other members had tried for years to break into the music business with little success. He was borrowing money from his Father to live on. He told his Father he was going to quit and get a regular job. His Father, who was familiar with the business advised him to give it one more try and not worry about the money. "You have talent." Like magic, it worked. The song can inspire people so many different ways. Being on tour like a professional baseball player, musicians, actors, or even truck drivers, it is difficult for their wives and family. The wives can't help not to be a little jealous. It takes a lot of faith to stay together on both parties. He was asked, "Does your wife get jealous?" His reaction was, "A little but she can call me anytime and I'll be either in my motel room watching baseball or practicing with the band if we're not performing." Now you know why they can perform it with passion each time they do it.
There are two young ladies that happened to be of Russian descent that happened to be so unbelievably gorgeous beyond imagination You and Diana ankudinova. And just like Diana you have an amazing charming personality that could easily light up the world and when you react to songs from the 70s and 80s and even the 60s it warms our heart to see this music being rejuvenated to the younger generation that could have possibly gone their entire lives without hearing such magical music during an amazing time that will never be duplicated you are a rockstar keep it up
Journey - so many good songs. "Any Way You Want It", "Faithfully" (watch the video - it's touching), and my personal favorite "Separate Ways" (then watch it's cover by a family band Missioned Souls). As for knowing the song, it gets used everywhere because it's super catchy and popular. It was covered in the TV show Glee among tons of other places.
Written by Steve Perry, Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon. I and Journey were born in San Francisco 🌉. I grew up listening to Steve Perry. 2 years after the release of Escape, Bryan Adams opened for Journey. Suggested videos 📹: 1 Steve Perry sings Foolish Heart 2 Bad English performs Straight to Your Heart 3 The Storm performs I've Got a Lot to Learn about Love. 4 John Waite sings Missing You .
Steve Perry is a top tier singer, definitely one of the greatest of all time. Its an iconic band with a catalog of great songs. Steve is making a comeback, believe hes sings with Element probably go solo eventually. Best of success with yr channel
I was born 1982, this cool Rocksong was 1 year earlier, but i hear this song in Germany, i Love this Music, i love all Good music in Germany, and this song is from 1981, i am 42 years old, in march, 04 my 43 Birthday this year, Irina.
You should really react to the original video of "Faithfully" by Journey. One of their absolute best. You can't go to a wedding reception without hearing it, lol.
Back in the day the artists made their money not on record sales, but ticket sales from live performances. Record sales have a lot of people and companies taking their piece of the pie. Live performances the artists only split the proceeds with the venue. This meant that usually artists had a great live show...they sounded great, and knew how to win over and bond with a crowd. This also meant the artists had a lot of freedom in regards to the record company, since the money was not under their control. There was a balance between the business of music and the art. That isn't the case anymore.
Holy hell!!!’ My iPad died suddenly. As such I lost all of my contacts. RUclips too. I’m going to enjoy this video before I even watch it. I’ve missed you and your content ❤😊
I was 15 when this song was released so this brings back high school memories for me. I am a huge Journey fan. This song is probably their most recognizable song though many critics say the song Faithfully is their best. My opinion is the song Open Arms is their best.
irina could use a good guitar player to come serenade her on those lonely nights 🎸🌙 ❤ muscians of today don't seem to have the creativity or caliber of excellence of musicians from the past I'm keeping all the old songs alive 😊🎶
I wasn't a huge fan of 'Journey', but they did have some pretty good songs. I love it when someone your age says that the music of the past is superior to the music of the present. It explodes the argument that I only feel that way because I'm older, and just don't get what's being produced now.
Irina's Russian roots are blossoming with this and other rock songs. In that few decades before global events sadly split Russia and the West once again, young Russians embraced rock and heavy metal with both arms tightly. Russia produced many iconic rock bands at the turn of the Millenium. Maybe one day again ... fingers crossed.
There are many talented artists today, young artists doing great stuff, as good as these old stuff. You just have to look for them. None of the good acts of today falls on your lap in today's world. You discover them. We have means to find them today online. That or from other people's suggestions. I am going to suggest a music group made of very young people, a rock band called The Warning. The Warning is made of 3 young ladies, all sisters - as in they are literally sisters - tje Villareal sisters Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra, they are from Mexico and they rock and hard rock, occasionally they play some more metal sounding songs and a few times of other genres. They are fantastic playing live and there are dozens of videos on RUclips from their live performances. I suggest as for first watch their songs Choke, Automatic Sun and Evolve, always the live performance from one of their high quality videos published on their official site. You will like them a lot, i'm positive. There is good stuff made today for sure.
Hey Irina??!! What's your thoughts on the Super Bowl? I'm hoping for a Detroit v Buffalo one, being I'm from Detroit. I hope I find you in great spirits?
Hello God bless you, you know you should react to Journey Separate Ways I swear you won't regret it and I would be very grateful to you !!! 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😀😀😀😀😀😀
If you thought they were good you have to listen to Led Zepplin Live at Madison Square Gardens the song is Since I've been loving you. They were considered the Rock Gods of their time. They are not only in the rock and roll hall of fame, won the Kennedy honors, which is presided over by the President of our Country. It is the greatest honor give to any artist, but most of all they rock.
There was auto tune then. Ozzy used the crap out of it. His voice was processed to the extreme. Yet, many loved it. Journey, no. They were as you hear. Arnel isn't bad either. Who sang later for Journey. I can see you working with children easily. They respond to beauty. The accent is a major plus.

Such an Amazing voice. So powerful.I never got to see them live, but I've enjoyed their music for 40 plus years. Separate Ways is a banger.
