Chinese agents came on to our Campus at Murdoch in Perth and were intimidating people for supporting the Hong Kong democracy protests.
When we took it to the student guild to be discussed, it was met with overwhelming resistance to do anything. The council even blocked a request for an investigation.

I'm becoming quite concerned about China. From what I'm hearing that goes on in our universities, bought placings, local students having to help Chinese students with no English and now political influence.

A large chunk of anatartica belongs to Australia but we just let China take it over without hesitance. On the long term this is a very bad move as Antarctica is very resource rich region

Before you make your judgement on credit system, may be try to understand the management of a 1.4 billion population. You can walk down anywhere in China at 1am in the morning n feel completely safe. Try that in Sydney. May be should you talk to average Chinese citizen in China and ask if they feel happy about their government. The answer might suprise you. Who are we to tell them what is bad? May be to them they choose safety over privacy for majority 99 percent of the population.what I am trying to say here is don't get control by the media n fake news.
