This is my dream bike! Did you have to re-flash with this slip-on install?
Nope. If you just do slip ons, the factory calibration can adjust to them. Once you do intake also, a flash is a good idea, once you do a cam, you must reflash
@@mkebikers I just thought with emissions and it already running lean to begin with to pass regulations, it's a good idea to reflash even if you stayed stock? I suppose you worked for Harley Davidson, and know :) Do you find that the exhaust matches well? It looks nice / like it does? I was thinking about the Jekyl and Hyde exhaust slip-on, and I see that you can keep the CVO end caps for it. I have to come up with the likely ~55k for the bike first though! Awesome bike!

Not sure if you are doing emissions testing in your state, Wisconsin doesn’t check motorcycles. Reflashing won’t hurt,but you might not tell a difference on this bike. The ride modes do a lot to change the mapping of the bike already. When I switch to sport mode, the throttle response is super crisp. Usually that is the biggest “noticeable” change when you remap a stock bike since they are typically not throttle mapped from stock.
@@mkebikers We live in Utah, they don't care ;) I just was trying to ride without government regulation is all :) I'm not chasing power, as it already has a lot in my opinion. Blockhead showed the dyno on the three maps for a CVO? road glide I think, I don't know if you ever checked it out on here. The electronic / technological suite is surely impressive! Not to mention overall it's a moving piece of artwork, and I'm sure a much better bike (than a non CVO)!
Do each of the modes have their own map? So if there was a re-flash, all 3 maps would need to then be updated?
