Thanks. I am really just busy recording the material I have made up since my solo recording I put out a couple years back. There are 26 or so of these little ditties I want to put up here instead of the streaming services. Then, I will take the best 12 or so and record them properly. That is the plan. I can't tell which people may like better so I put them up here in hopes of figuring that out. I really appreciate the feedback and support that you have been leaving.
@@fingerpickerguy Great stuff. I comment a lot on many guitar players acct . Too many of us get so few likes. Try to support our small group of talented guitar lovers. You've got some great ideas. Well done and best of luck form Canada. Again sorry for my earlier comments seeming repetitive but I was thinking about what chord ideas you use and not inspiration from around you.
That is a great thing that you do. I should follow suit. Chord Ideas? We can chat about that. I don't think so much in terms of chords as I do voicings. I can still hear my music theory teacher in my head from 35 years ago talking about voice leading, deceptive cadences, song structures, etc. Though I am a HUGE Chet and Travis fan, I try to do something different with my arrangements. So, I look at it more like a piano player. What is the nearest voicing that will create the right tension or release, depending on what gives. When I do play actual chords, they are usually some sort of jazz shape. Truthfully, I use some chords that I don't even know what they are. They just sound right because they set up whatever comes next.
