The Student Filmmakers that Jimmy always complains about but still never fails to hire whenever he needs a job are an underrated part of the show. I really hope we see them again in season 6
Man, it's even better then that. They have worked with him a few times now and she always comes across as so nice. So for her to be the one to do it, seems so in character and not just a one dimensional thing... She actually likes working for/with Jimmy! So many other shows would have her be a one off character that does this and honestly... would you care about some guy you just met down on his luck you were meant to get paid for? It really wouldn't make as much sense or have as much meaning. This show kills it time and time again in the little details.

He sought approval and never gave a thought as to what his true passions were. Its why he didn't come to obvious conclusion that despite Chuck being his brother, Chuck would never accept Jimmy as a peer. He was blind to the fact that Chuck would always view him as a two-bit crook that always took the easy way out or looked for the most effective but shady way to make a buck. Chuck is to blame as well, since he gave Jimmy a self-fulfilling prophecy type of treatment, "the more I treat you like ____, the more you will act and become a ______"
lol weren't they actually college teachers? In the mid season finale episode, we saw the grumpy camera guy teaching his class. Idk about the others but I assumed its the same.

I know it wasn’t one of the films, but my favorite of the film students is when they manufactured the elaborate scheme to prove Huell’s innocence, and the lawyer calls the “church” and you hear a nice old lady, and then you cut to it being Makeup Girl and everyone huddled around the phones. I love this series and I was surprised I loved these guys so much lol.
This is bizarre to mention. But in case any of you people work, wearing a harness like that billboard man. When suspended, you have approximately 5 minutes before passing out. You must contact someone within this time or you're bound to die from a violent loss of blood circulation. I was in construction for 2 years and didn't know about it till a couple months ago. Stay safe out there everybody.

This franchise makes me happy to say that I lived to see it make it to the air. RIP Robert Forster, and to anyone who unfortunately didn't get the chance to see BCS's series finale or the BB movie. My original comment is below this. Bob Odenkirk is a one man show. He easily captivates and pulls me in every one of these scenes. I especially like the one where he's coaching the amateur actors on what to do when they're on camera.

What is really amazing is how the same people (film visuals, acting, audio, etc.) at the same time shoot cinema genius and then cut seamlessly to cheesy late night TV adds. How do they get it look so bad and awkward, its amazing.

I love that they included the pizza bit. Jim Breuer has an infamous video (fake, of course) of him flipping out on the set of a commercial when none of the crew would let him eat the prop pizza.
This reminds me so much of the spoof commercials he did when he would worked on "Tom Goes to the Mayor" on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. They did great spoofs of local TV ads for small businesses.
