would it be possible to create frosted glass panel in Mixed Reality too, typically on the Quest?
Since we don’t have access to passthrough footage, I am wondering! Thanks :)

Not at the moment, unfortunately. Frosted glass in general is very difficult to render. However im sure in the future we will find a way to do it in AR.

Wow that's soooooooo good and easy. Thanks for that. And who shows me how to get this into Unity. :D Did research but frosted glass in VR and unity is absolutely not trivial. Apparently no problem for Web XR. Any resources on how to achieve this with WebXR frameworks?

From what I understand, frosted glass shaders are an WebGL feature and not a WebXR feature. If you can utilize WebLibraries libraries, you should be able to use it for WebXR.

as always insane video thank you
is it possible to make a metaverse where we gonna creat a whole app with lot of interaction, do it on 20min version or so for 3-5 videos

When you say metaverse, do you mean an complete xr app flow?

Hello Daniel, I am new to the XR world and I am eager to get started. However, I am still trying to navigate the various software options available. I was hoping to get your recommendation on whether the AR Foundation by Unity would be a better option for me to start with compared to Adobe Aero. As a beginner, I want to ensure I am learning the right skills from the start.
Thank you in advance for your advice.

It honestly really matters what you want to do.
I think at this moment very few people are looking to hire an XR designer. I think that is changing though. That said you have to figure out what you want to do. Many people want to hire individuals who can do everything. Essentially they want a designer who can code, design, and model.
Now this demographic they are looking for is rare, and reminds me of the early days of mobile app development. So if you want to get a job soon, I would suggest learning all of those hard skills. Meaning Unity, C#, Blender, Houdini, ZBrush, etc.
However, those skills take a very very very long time to pick up. I mean as little as 2 years of heavy experience in them.
All of that considered, I have been getting more major companies reaching out for XR designers who know Bezel, ShapesXR, and other XR concepting tools. These messages and DMs signify that companies, soonish, will be looking for designers who can ideate and prototype quickly with friendlier tools.
Fundamentally you have to ask yourself a couple of questions. Can you, and do you want to, have harder more technical design skills? They are great for job security and freedom, but are a very very large investment. Or do you want to concept out flows, designs, and content quickly like traditional product designers? If it the latter, I would suggest spending time learning how to design for XR and create portfolio.

@@marqusee Firstly, I would like to express my immense gratitude for taking the time to answer my previous question. Secondly, I am a graduating student of graphic design this month, and I have decided against pursuing a master's degree in UI/UX design. Instead, I plan to learn the skills by myself since I find that the traditional college degree path may not be as efficient and may take longer.
To this end, I have already begun my journey in UI/UX design with an internship at a specialized company. However, what I am truly interested in is incorporating VR and AR tools into the UI/UX world. I have noticed that there is currently a shortage of designers with these abilities, and the demand for virtual reality designers is increasing.
Therefore, I would be extremely grateful if I could find a mentor with sufficient knowledge in this field who could guide me towards making the right choices, what to learn, what to avoid, and what could save me time because in the place where I reside, everyone lack awareness about this emerging technology and are unable to provide assistance , including universities. Furthermore, I am curious to know if it is worth pursuing this path, even with the recent failure of the metaverse, and how much will it affect the rise of XR technology overall.
