- Okay, so I was listening to the Cuphead soundtrack and when I heard Railroad Wrath, I instantly loved it. I couldn't wait, so I immediately made a remix of this. Surprisingly, it only took me less than 12 hours. So, double upload. I'm so inspired to make more Cuphead remix (and maybe actually play it)!

The genres are pretty similar, really. Just Jazz doesn't have synths or midi drums.
Yeah, they're basically the same thing, but personally I think jazz has a lot more push and pull rather than just pushing. Makes sense too, since electro-swings are at least generally made by one person or a group of people with days and maybe even weeks of organizing every instrument. Jazz is more like scrap art, where a bunch of random musicians can get together and just jam the heck out.

To me, electroswing uses the samples and instrumental melodies of swing/jazz and the composition, patterns and layering styles of electronic music, like techno and trance; i.e. to create it, use what you learn about trance music, but start from swing samples rather than synths.
