Imo it is a combo of his effects and note selection...specifically his g major 2 that gives the harmony. On top of that he uses similar sequencing and finishes his solo with a fast ascending scale sequence at the end quite often. It sounds great everytime.

I see some people sharing stories, thought I'd share mine. And to keep a long story short,
A recent ex of mine had basically dropped me for someone else out of nowhere a few months ago. We stayed friends ish so I was kinda in the know about who it was and what they did. Turns out they didn't even like my ex to begin with, and so now recently she's basically feeling how I felt when she up and dropped me, and now this song speaks for itself, and hits harder than ever. Stay strong out there guys, do what you love and find other things than relationships to make you happy.
Really like the parts where vocals seem deeper than usual. Can't wait to pick up this album from my local record store.

when i was a virgin in high school, i tried to have a relationship with a homeschooled girl who was a rape victim. initially talking to her was about the time i got kicked out of my old school for making a suicide threat. she got me through a lot and our bond escalated rather quickly.
after a while, when i was in the process of helping her get her rapist arrested by gathering witnesses and his other victims, she blocked me and made up a bullshit story for her friends to make me look like a creep when i tried to ask them why she blocked me.
(i'd never done anything to her that i could remember, i literally never even got in an argument with her before, and that speaks volumes for any relationship)
this song speaks to me about her on a lyric by lyric basis. i dont hate her, i wish the best for her, there is no ill will between us, but i still know she'll eventually look back and regret ditching me. she valued her own short-term happiness through the use of drugs over the wellbeing of me, who cared about her, and i now live knowing it will haunt her.
Similar story here man, I also dated a rape victim a couple years ago... she was super into drugs and sex and I am a pretty straight arrow... tried to take her to church and fix her, and during the time I was with her I had some personal shit with my family and we thought we were going to lose our house. Anyway we had a really strong bond and I brought her to church so that God could fix her, but she cheated on me with a cocaine dealer and ran away to Jacksonville where she is a stripper now. I attempted and spent a month in a mental hospital and I was so depressed I couldn't use a plastic fork without supervision... I guess the only thing to do is learn from those experiences and become wiser in future relationships. Also read the words of Christ Jesus and God will bring you to good people and perhaps bring your confused past girlfriend to better decisions.
