How sweet! Fritz wants so badly to play with Fiona! She's being so gentle with him! It appears Bibi is relaxing her guard a bit around Fiona.
Pretty sure Fiona isn't eating Fritz because Bibi is watching so carefully, Bibi looks like she's the dominant water cow

I love how baby hippos see a MUCH bigger hippo and they go into "Imma eat you" mode. 🥰
I grew up seeing Henry all my young life at the Springfield Zoo. I can’t imagine how proud and elated he probably is now looking down and seeing the happiness his little Fiona has with her family 💕
The playfulness of the cub is so endearing 🥰 Makes me smile and watch over and again.
Hippo babies are calf (single) / calves (plural).
He is precious!!!! I love how he opens his little mouth to nibble on her and show her affection!!! Cute how she backs up sometimes! As usual, Bibi is on guard and watching the siblings like a good mom!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I wonder if when he always opens his mouth to kind of share kisses, if that's because the staff is always rubbing inside his mouth. They all seem to do that as a way to communicate. I'm in love with this family, and Fritz is so entertaining to watch his personality come out.

Absolutely precious! I remember when Fiona was born and y’all worked so hard to save her. It definitely paid off! She’s beautiful and sweet to the baby. Maybe she remembers what it’s like to be tiny ❤
The way Bibi decides they’ve had enough time for now but Fritz just bounds past her snout to get back to Fiona. 😍
There's good reason that Bibi acts this way.
Jealosy from older siblings can be fatal for hippos.
Even among elephants with big family groups you can get the same behavior - the older ones can suddenly just snap.

Oh my goodness...so precious! I've seem many baby hippos, but Fritz is the cutest of them all 😍. The ear flickering gets me every time 🤗. Sister Fiona gets all the sweet sugar cookie 😘 kisses from her baby brother Fritz! Excellent mom 🌸 Bibi! 😊

@@ingrid1797 and that’s okay we all have our favorites, I wish the Cincinatti zoo would get another polar bear it used to be one of the main attractions when I was young so sad we lost ours. But then again it’s sad to want another animal in captivity so I shouldn’t necessarily say that either.

Fiona loves her some Fritz I live in ny and I took my 3 daughters on a trip to the Cincinnati zoo and they couldn’t get enough of Fiona best day we had ever! I also bought them the stuff hippo 🦛 that Zoo gives the Bronx zoo a run‼️

OMG they are so cute 🥰. I am driving my wife and I to Cincinnati from Minnesota soon for our 8th wedding anniversary. We did this last year too because she (and I) wanted to see Fiona, Bibi and Tucker. I can't wait to take her back and do it all over! 🦛🦛🦛🦛☺️

He is just a little spitfire! I think he's going to be Fiona's biggest pest and best friend! BiBi is doing fantastic, letting Fritz and Fiona explore and play, but staying nearby and interjecting when she says, that's enough for now. They are all doing so well together; can't wait to see how Henry does with Feisty Fitz!
