awesome awesome video joe! Thank you for your support and for your vote. You have an awesome collection. I got your suggestions down too. I appreciate it.
Thx Ray! Really enjoyed the video you did with Greg (Midlife Sports cards…not card crisis 🤦♂️) and had a bunch of fun trying to figure out what I had vs what I didn’t have + doing the ballot + suggestions! Maybe 1 day this will be a PSA set registry? That would be amazing!
I love Joes choice of 84 topps mattingly and 87 topps bo jackson I would vote for both those is a heart beat👊
@@DoubleDvintagebaseballcards yep both good choices.
Love seeing your amazing collection. I would add 75 Yount, 78 Molitor/Trammel, 93 Topps Jeter as well as many of the cards you mentioned.
75 Yount is on this years ballot if you want to vote. Agree on the Jeter and moliter/trammel
Incredible how many of these cards you have in your collection! Excellent ballot…agree it should just be the 83 Topps Gwynn. Let’s not get too cute with O-Pee-Chee
Thx Josh! Way too cute with the O-Pee-Chee. It would suck if that card doesn’t get in because it is only the OPC
It warms my heart to listen to a Yankees fan speak so passionately about including a Braves player in the RUclips Sportscard HOF--and I'd be inclined to go with the regular (short-print) bat-down card rather than the sapphire (though it is gorgeous).
Haha what am I doing?! Yeah I’m good with the SP or Sapphire. It needs to be in!
Man your collection is just ridiculous 🏆🏆🏆 loved listening to you talk about each card. Go Yount 75’ 🎉🎉🎉 🤙🤙
If only I owned a Yount it probably would’ve gotten my vote. 😂 sorry
Great choices, Joe. The Thurman Munson (2nd year) 1971 Topps is, one of my favorite cards, of all time. I voted for T206 Walter Johnson. The Roger Maris rookie is, one I voted, for as well. For if anything else chasing the ghost of Babe Ruth like you said and, he was competing too, also with his more popular teammate Mickey Mantle. Roger, conducted himself with dignity and class. I'm an Orioles fan, but I am also a fan of several Yankees, and the greats. Munson should be in the baseball HOF. And, I have faith he will get in December via Veteran's Committee. Should have happened long time ago. The world 'grail'.... is used often. But, the Koufax rookie card is, definitely very high up on my list. Love the Frank Robinson, and Bob Gibson, and George Brett as well. Eddie and Ozzie are Iconic. Too. Nice to see Rickey Henderson as well. Great minds think alike. I like vintage, but agree there should be more modern.
Wow you have an insane collection I can't believe how many cards on this list that you have in your collection. I only have 11 for now. Yeah how is the 83 Gwynn not in yet and the 64 Rose?
Why are all cards in the sports cards Hall of Fame baseball cards (not football, basketball or hockey)? The Jordan fleer rookie and Gretzky rookie should be in, among others.
Jordan’s real rookies were the ‘84-’85 star cards, the fleers get all the publicity but those star ones were great.
Good call…It is the Baseball Card HOF…will update the title.
Pee Wee Reese … gotta correct that bc RUclipsrs always getting it wrong. It’s not one of the first “action” cards and is not one of the first cards with 2 players. They were making cards like that back in the early 1900’s. T202’s for example
That’s why I said one of the first and not first
Awesome cards joe! Thanks for sharing!
The '52 Topps Jackie Robinson. His nicest card of all-time (in my opinion).
I understand the "grail" status of the UD Griffey rookie, but in my opinion, its not even in the same league as the 1952 Topps Mantle or T206 Honus Wagner. I would place the 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. Bowman Tiffany or Topps Traded Tiffany with the Mantle and Wagner before the Upper Deck.
The biggest argument for the Acuna card is that SilverJackify owns it in PSA 10. 😂 I don't think there should be two Mattinglys and two Bo Jacksons when so many baseball legends have been overlooked so far.
Pump pump pump it up!!’
Awesome video. Your collection is a HOF card collection, congrats. Thanks for sharing
My customer card needs to be in the HOF already
Just to name a few you need to add Albert Puljos Bowman Chrome Auto Rookie Card, 1969 Topps Nolan Ryan, 1984 Fleer Update Roger Clemens
Agreed on the Ryan and Pujols. Clemens update is on the ballot and I voted for that card if you watched to the end
@SilverJackify I saw the 84 Fleer Update you added at the end. I was on my 2nd glass of bourbon when replying and jumped the gun. As a kid growing up in the 80s and 90s, that 84 Fleer Update Clemens and Puckett were grail cards for me.
Really great cards and great recommendations for next year’s ballot.
As a Mattingly fan, if you had to pick only 1 card, Topps or Donruss?
Well done 👍
Thank you 👍
