    Great video. We have a spot like that in South Texas and one up in the hill country...middens everywhere.

      where at in the hill country? I found one north of Leakey years ago on an indian mound.

    Always getting caught up with folks posting artifacts! Here in NC... the two County's I hunbt, we finished the study of point production sine 10,500BC... and it came in at about 38 million. Just two counties! I think you guys understand this! Just a great reality! A great ancient Indian race here!

      Still hunt but don’t post much anymore. This is where they are building the new lake north of Bonham tx. Soon to be under water

    You dudes need a sifter like the one i use. I would love to be sifting on those sites.Use a shovel with a dishwasher sifter like I have. You will find everything on those bars.

    Very nice!! I have yet to find some nice arrowheads. I have one broken one I found at lake Travis.. could you guide me to a possible spot near the Austin area?? We do more fossil hunting then relic hunting...

    Where at in North Texas? I'm in DFW, I'd like to try my hand at it before it's lost forever.
    Explored the Sulpher River this morning but nothing worth a video.

      I hunt the sulphur as well. Found some dinosaur vertabre and bones. A few arrowheads as well

    I used to go arrow head hunting all the time when I lived in Arkansas. Now I live in Oregon, and its slim pickings up here 😢

      I'm not entirly sure. I've walked about the length of the river and found them all along, but there are places the gather them. It has something to do with the right size gravel catching on the bends after a straight away.

      Those are probably the ones they didn't keep. They would make a whole bunch from one rock and only keep the sharpest/most likely to penetrate easily.

    I Have found thousands of indian artifacts!!! including 2 Clovis. in 40 years of hunting here in Ohio!! But have yet to find a single arrowhead in water. Lake creek river!! And I just got a new kayak. I will be looking though!!

      Man, you can find that stuff all day long in central MO. A friend of mine bought this cabin, and the wall outside is made up of arrowheads, axes, and grinding pestles and bowls. I bet his wall is worth 20 thousand bucks.

      I was in Oklahoma not too long ago looking for arrowheads around the local creeks, but I didn't have much luck. I wound up visiting Mt. Scott instead.
      I've been thinking about going to lake Texoma to look for ammonite fossils, shark teeth, and other neat things. I read that people were finding trilobite fossils as well not too far from Ardmore.
