Always getting caught up with folks posting artifacts! Here in NC... the two County's I hunbt, we finished the study of point production sine 10,500BC... and it came in at about 38 million. Just two counties! I think you guys understand this! Just a great reality! A great ancient Indian race here!
wow I'd say arrowheads every where y'all cleaned house that stinks the state is going to turn that into a lake hope ya get many more trips & pockets full of shiney rocks best wishes to y'all
You dudes need a sifter like the one i use. I would love to be sifting on those sites.Use a shovel with a dishwasher sifter like I have. You will find everything on those bars.
Very nice!! I have yet to find some nice arrowheads. I have one broken one I found at lake Travis.. could you guide me to a possible spot near the Austin area?? We do more fossil hunting then relic hunting...
Where's that at? North Texas? Y'all look like you had some good finds. Good relaxing times at that. The one you said looks paleo might be a Baker. Congrats! Thanks for sharing the video.
Where at in North Texas? I'm in DFW, I'd like to try my hand at it before it's lost forever. Explored the Sulpher River this morning but nothing worth a video.
I'm not entirly sure. I've walked about the length of the river and found them all along, but there are places the gather them. It has something to do with the right size gravel catching on the bends after a straight away.
I Have found thousands of indian artifacts!!! including 2 Clovis. in 40 years of hunting here in Ohio!! But have yet to find a single arrowhead in water. Lake creek river!! And I just got a new kayak. I will be looking though!!
I feel ya bro. Here in Oregon I bride the migrant workers $5.00 for every ice cream bucket full of arrow heads the find while working in the fields.. LMAO!!!Hammer Down!!!
Man, you can find that stuff all day long in central MO. A friend of mine bought this cabin, and the wall outside is made up of arrowheads, axes, and grinding pestles and bowls. I bet his wall is worth 20 thousand bucks.
I was in Oklahoma not too long ago looking for arrowheads around the local creeks, but I didn't have much luck. I wound up visiting Mt. Scott instead. I've been thinking about going to lake Texoma to look for ammonite fossils, shark teeth, and other neat things. I read that people were finding trilobite fossils as well not too far from Ardmore.
great post you guys are always teaching me new things thanks for sharing!!! hey i found a crazy pictograph on a rock check it out . got you subbed in Hambone
I want to sit in a creek with a beer in my hand looking for fossils and arrowheads! What a great way to spend a day!

I used to go arrow head hunting all the time when I lived in Arkansas. Now I live in Oregon, and its slim pickings up here 😢
Carlos Danger oh cool, thanks man. I’ll have to check that out. Looking is half the fun, actually finding something is the icing on the cake.
Carlos Danger it is very beautiful, and the climate is very mild compared to arkansas. And yes, for work.
Carlos Danger I work in health care, so that’s in demand. As to other industries, I’m not entirely sure.
Is this Oklahoma?
Great hunt guys, I hope you find them all before it gets flooded.
Do most creeks have arrowheads? Or is this just and super rich area?

I'm not entirly sure. I've walked about the length of the river and found them all along, but there are places the gather them. It has something to do with the right size gravel catching on the bends after a straight away.

Hey fellow head hunter. What state or county u in?
Very cool finds. Do you ever use gold pan classifiers?
I bought one and used it on my last trip. They work well and were cheap from Amazon
Hey Jesse,
I'm up in NE Texas. Are you close to Paris
Between Paris and Sherman
Why so many in one area?Did the Indians shoot fish with them lost them or a campsite?
Those are probably the ones they didn't keep. They would make a whole bunch from one rock and only keep the sharpest/most likely to penetrate easily.
+pancho villa Thanks,that makes since.
