  • Everyone has experienced suffering at some point in their lives. Anywhere from mild inconvenience, to the struggle of daily life, to moments of real tragedy and pain. Each of these moments shape us and linger with us. And each person confronts suffering uniquely and so it’s a topic that must be handled gently and with great care. This video is meant to be a reflection on the reality of suffering and what meaning can be present in what we all experience and how to come to it. A reality and meaning with an eye toward self-discovery on the topic of vocations.
This video looks to explore the ways we suffer because of ourselves and our perceptions of ourselves and what that looks like and what that means.
    Let’s talk about it.

Let’s see suffering and vocation. All I’ve ever wanted to do was serve the holy Catholic Church. I cannot be a Catholic priest because I am not smart enough. Plus I have deep seeded homosexual attraction. Or Same sex attraction disorder. Which also means every religious community is out. Because a man can’t join who has SSA and rightfully so. The factory I worked in for 23 years has recently shut down and I am now 43 years old and looking for a job. I would be happy for the rest of my life. If I could find work and earn a living working for the holy Catholic Church. I would be happy even if it were janitorial work. At least I would be servicing the Catholic Church in some way. But the only people to get those jobs are the family and friends of the parish. Basically I am screwed. It was a good video though. Thanks a lot for all you do I will keep you in my prayers God bless you.

How can you say that you're screwed?! You sound like such a beautiful person. You should be so proud that despite your sin, your love for the Church is so strong. You think God will ignore that? Run to Him Ryan, like the Prodigal Son did to his father. Allow Our Lord, with intercession from Our Lady, to heal you by holding you tenderly. He will never let you go. You think you're screwed but ironically, He thinks you're the most beautiful thing in the world. He will bless you with the right job, no matter what age you are. Have faith!

Great video but I think it's a mistake when formation reduced to psychology.
