@AnkokuRyou211 Arguably being in high school has little to do with it, agents of control and suppressing factors will exist throughout life. Haruhi basically embodies the idea that you can trade-in security and common sense for fun and color and variety. Sure, other people (Kyon) may complain and whine and mutter but as long as you're running around making your own random movie and dragging people into baseball matches just BECAUSE, really, why does it matter :)
