im using ameo diesel dsg its powerful and very good .. dsg shifts absolutely flawless... what i like about the car is in highway i get around 20km diesel mileage .. i find that mileage absolutely good considering performance the car is giving.. in city traffic mileage is around 15 to 16 .. the initial lag can easily be masked if u press accelerator little hard turbo kicks in around 1800 rpm .. 0 to 100 kmph can be achieved just under 10 sec..its a good drivers car.. only thing i find it is lacking is rear seat space ..

വണ്ടിയിൽ എത്ര എയർബാഗ് ഉണ്ട് ,എവിടെ ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ട്, abs and ebd, stability control, build quality. തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഉൾകൊള്ളിച്ചാൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു.
ഇതിൽ കുറച്ചു details showroomൽ നിന്നും തന്നെ കിട്ടും എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. 👍
I have the machine with 1.2 L MPI. My experience was not that great. I have completed around 67000 km in 3 years, mostly in highways and city. Mileage in the city around 11 km with ac and in highway 17 km with ac. Power of the vehicle is very good. control over the vehicle is also very good. But the maintenance of the vehicle is little expensive.
in this 3 years and 67000 km I have changed break disk 3 (48000 rs total)times lower arms 2(16000 rs total) times battery 1(5000 rs) time 4 services(48000rs total) also alternator got damaged on 64000 km which is costed around 24000 rs Now in 67000 km tensioner stud got damaged and rs 14000 was charged. Now they advised me to change the front shockabs and cluchtc plate on next service which may cost more than 30000 rs. This was my experience.

Okay, good to know. However, i bought polo in 2016 its going to complete 3rd year. So far no issues i have only paid service charges 8.5K in 1st year and 10.2K in 2nd
@@darshandru no issues if you are using less and the service centetvos decent. for long run only the problem and once the service centre disided to make money from us then the problem will start.
In Bangalore most of the service Centers are greedy.
Thats true, i have driven only 24000 km so far. I have just shifted to Bangalore 6 months back this year i will have to give it here, any showroom you suggest better? So far i have done in Kerala Kochi VNM showroom and had mutual friends so didn't get fooled.

This car is very powerful when comes turbo petrol. Good hatchback not only India every where in other world countries. Volkswagen one of the best automotive company along with Toyota, Audi,Skoda, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley all owned by Volkswagen group.
GT TSI owner here: Spotted 2 mistakes
1. Spare wheel is not Alloy. It's an emergency wheel with speed limit of 80kmph
2. Cruise control can be enabled after 20kmph, not 40kmph as you mentioned.
Suggestion: You have praised only DSG gearbox for its performance. But in reality the 1.2 L petrol turbo engine combined with DSG is the reason for its performance. That's why it's called a Gem. Suspension is harder than normal polo for sporty experience. Even in Drive(D) mode there are 2 rmps for shifting. One around 2000rpm when u accelerate normally. Second is at 3500rpm, when you floor the accelerator. (Helpful for overtaking). And in sports(S) mode it's 6000rpm.

The reson for shifting to cvt is the clutch burning issue in city slow moving traffic. Intial glitch is con of DSG. This cause more wear of Clutch. For cost effective management cvt is used now a days in india.

Ford is moving towards Torque converters because their DCTs were problematic.
There were many issues of breakdowns and what not, so I guess it's the safer option to move to torque converters, they're not as efficient or as quick as DCTs like the DSG but they're robust old school mechanicals and will probably give you a problem free experience for the entire ownership period.
Personally, for a car that I am buying as a daily driver, I'd take a Torque converter because the reliability of DCTs are still unconvincing.
