My Great Grand Parents owned a grocery store in Antonito and knew all the railroaders. In 1954, I was 7 and we were visiting them. I was train crazy and wanted to see the train. Granny took me to the train yard and I eventually ended sitting on the Engineers lap. He let me work the throttle and move old 484 down the track about 20 feet. THAT WAS A THRILL !!!
