Props to Kenworth for keeping this model with analog gauges. Peterbilt went digital only a few years ago now
I am so glad Kenworth has kept an analogue gauge for the W900 while other trucks have unfortunately gone with digital gauges. I hope the W900 never goes along with the new trend.

Im a company driver, but the company I drive for pays our lease drivers $3.71 a mile. Seems pretty doable

I am so happy they didnt discontinue the W900L! Its a fantastic platform. I wish there was a way to make them a glider. Less expense to the owner operator. Im going to my first heavy haul company which has been my goal since day one of CDL School!

I hope your open to negotiation on purchase price that thing is a fantasy truck for teams only because there is no way to make that work with a single operator as a mater of fact I hope you have connections for a load or two withen 10 miles of your dealership this for me would have to be go go go jump & grind proposition this tractor is set up for a progressive team operation Sonny Pruitt & Will Chandler are my motivation and I need extra stand by trailers like a couple of Reefers & a Flatbed & a Gondola and A dump that is why I would need a PTO wet kit and a chrome plated Merritt Cab gaurd behind the sleeper with all the accessories oh well I’m dreaming off top of my head but to run a rig like this you have to have freight options you can’t just rely on one kind of freight & one customer you have to be very versatile
If I’m still doing this in two years. I’ll have a Mack to get rid of. I’ll come and see ya.
U should order the LARGECAR W900L with the FULL SEATTLE PACKAGE that has the diamond tuck on closet doors & cabinets in sleeper & one glove box & cubby holder under dash

I'd put both fuel tanks close behind step, def behind driver's tank and apu behind passenger tank.....jmo

This SHOULD be the last year for the W9's according to their literature. PACCAR got rid of the 389, they can't let the W9 stay around. 😮

You said in one of your videos that the nav can be swapped out for full gauge panel.... according to a Kenworth "engineer" it's not possible.....have you swapped one out before???
You can select diamond VIT. Delete NAV +. And replace with gauges.
Not available after factory. Have to order that way.
Lots of ppl delete the Nav with the real gauges even on used older models
With the release of the new peterbilt 589 “freightliner package” I hope the brass at paccar leave the KW as is.

@@MrJoshlanier yes, the one the salesman just gave a tour of is a W9L. I was referring to the "Freightliner package" comment. Kenworth started making the W990 model, their version of the 2 1 meter-wide cab, because they are phasing out the W900 models. The new versions of the classics are supposed to be more aerodynamic. Governments idea, not PACCAR's.

Outrageous overpriced. For 250k you should get one year free All maintenance / repairs covered .
It seems like a lot but most 2024 trucks can be up to and more than 100,000. So for a semi 250k doesn't seem so bad

I don’t like it, they had one of the coolest and most comfortable interiors and now they are like all the others. They are just generic. The old interior was like custom with out getting you semi customized.

@@PineyWoodsKenworth No its not as maybe they changed it, But my VIT had everything Covered with the Diamond Tuck all over the sleeper area and the cabinets & Closets doors all that plastic trim you see was covered even in the cab area, and glove box an Top of dash, and the steering collum and the whole underneath at the fire wall all the way across. my 2001 had it all and that other kenworth sales man that calls is his channel the kenworth guy just showed one a month ago or so with everything I Described.

I rather pay 40k for Rebuild it's just a one time Payment rather then paying 250k monthly payments lol freaking stupid 😂 😂😂
@jcforever6671 My rebuild was 68k at a caterpillar dealership. It cost more than 40k depending on how far you go with it.

AT A PRICE OF $272,693 PLUS TAX THIS IS ABSOLUTE INSANITY. AT THE VERY MOST THIS TRUCK SHOULD BE $225,000 AT LEAST $55,000-60,000 PURE PROFIT FOR DEALER .
