The main lifts have been modernised by Otis. I can remember when you could go up to the top floor as there was a gym up there. I went up there, but I can't remember what it was like. 2:26 | Those lifts have now been modernised by Kone again & they replaced the motors with Ecodiscs. They also added a weird box thing around them so you can't see out except on the top floor. 3:04 | Kone has modernised those lifts into Ecodiscs. 3:32 | The A lifts have been replaced with Ecodiscs & the B lifts have been modernised by Otis. Some security guards are no better than teenaged chavs. Most security guards I have met only became security guards because they think it gives them the right to be rude. If you ask them to help with something like the car park ticket machine not working correctly they don't have a clue. Bentalls has a ridiculous amount of security guards. I went there today & over 10% of the people there are security guards.
@Jack Bradley, he must have either missed the lift due to the security guard, had used up all his camera memory or forgotten to film it. He might have missed it if it had dewhurst fixtures.
Nice video. I think you should do the lifts in John lewis and waitrose. Theses a nice range of otis lifts there. Plus you should of done the lift in WHsmiths. thanks, Alex
The glass lifts used to go up to the third floor however, Otis had to modernise them because in 2014 somebody committed suicide and fell 3 floors down so the changed the button to a key switch. I went up there before and it is strange because I can’t remember what it was like. I was so sad when it got shut down :(
Kingston John Lewis has a service lift. It goes to a basement which the regular lifts have as a locked-off floor. The service lift is locked by a code, but the code is 1234.
WHOAH I really like watching lifts on youtube, its what i do in my free time. Please does anyone know how fast this lift goes, it would be GREAT if someone knows.
@funcik1 - it sure is illegal in Hull in all public shopping areas - we have a new St Stephens complex and people have been stopped taking photos by security - I don't blame them - they think terrorists may get a good plan of the area - we live in restricted times!!!
Because most security people thinks that the centre is private land but all security people knows that all centers are private land that you can't take photos or videos of... Also if you look at Dieselducys channel there are one of the most kind security guards that let's him take videos of lifts and some other security peoples won't let him in different building locations.

Well The 3rd Floor Is Locked Off Now

Kingston John Lewis has a service lift. It goes to a basement which the regular lifts have as a locked-off floor. The service lift is locked by a code, but the code is 1234.
What a stupid code
wclifton968 You can call it stupid because it is easy to guess for other people like you

Good tour but lots of spelling mistakes.
@benobve what is on the top floor on the glass lifts
A gym which is now closed and the button was replaced with a keyswitch when they got modded by Otis.
@@EEverything360which year did the gym close and the glass lifts stopped going up to 3
@@uktrafficsignals11 Idk I think the reason why was that somebody committed suicide.
The top floor is closed now

The 2nd ones are ecodisc
They still have the original motor so there actually not ecodisc
Do A Tour In John Lewis
The main ones are not reliable.
So did security guard got into trouble himself , for touching you . However if you are under 16 and he touched you , he would got more trouble
@zrieqi58 hmm acutally you are right :s
That’s disrespectful, All of us have right to film
I sore longer escalators , try to see escalators in Clapham South Station (underground)
@zrieqi58 Is it hard filming
The security guard is so rude he could lose his job doing that
Because most security people thinks that the centre is private land but all security people knows that all centers are private land that you can't take photos or videos of...

By all means that from the words of Dieselducy "Photography is not a crime".
