    Masterfully played! What a shame that the double bassist played from a part that was massacred by Liben Publishing in 1981. From a beat and a half into bar 273 to the downbeat of bar 277, Bottesini originally wrote the passage up an octave.

    I detected a bit of 'Sexual Tension' between the Violinist and the Bass Player. LOL
    Otherwise...Great Performance!!!

      @shaunnagunderson3232 2 года назад

      It’s artistic communication between the two. That’s what you’re seeing. The piano was equally involved. That’s what makes the performance

    What does that even mean? The choice of bow doesn't effect an interpretation in top-tier playing.

  • @brandonmiller4861
    @brandonmiller4861 11 лет назад +1

    Technically? I think the music sounds good enough here whether the bow was made of glass or pigskin.

    Maybe but bottesini played french, so technically its not a true interpretation. But still really cool

  • @dirkhoekstra727

    Why are they playing it so slowly?!?!?! My goodness...I almost fell asleep. Much prefer Rinat and Alina's version on RUclips

    • @steffengotsch
      @steffengotsch 10 лет назад +9

      Uh, cause it's hard to play. Haha Ibragimov and Ibragamova are machines. They're both way too good to be human.
