Thank you for yet another great MTB products review! For the last 2 yrs I have been using Monteer 6500S (6500 lm / 72 Wh) or RN-3000 (3000 lm / 36 Wh) lights on my dark rides. Both stellar products.
I just got this light. Very expensive. But, this is the best built light i have ever had. I run my lights mostly in winter, has the day are short in the rockies. This thing is solid, it has built in fins to cool it, solid battery. None of that plastic crap. I ride in the mountains, so lots of wildlife and i like to see them before its to late, and by being bright, they see me coming way ahead and can move. I like to see where im going so this light is amazing, the street mode is really nice as it is very focused and wont blind everyone! It is definitely a little overkillz, but hey, id rather have to much light than not enough 😉
Excellent video great break down of the night light when riding through the bush these videos actually show the potential of the product thats for sale not those other BS videos that you see which are complete nonsense and are there to suck you in for the sale... many thanks for the effort of this detailed video you put out.. Cheers!
I'm using pico from Lupine and it's way lighter and you can wear it on Helmet or Handle Bar! Of course there is always a brighter light, but with a little bit stronger Battery I can right more than 4 hours. Even the Remote is smaller. It's strange, we pay so much money for lightweight bikes and install so heavy add ons. Thanks for detailed report 👍
I would get it if i could afford it. I love having good visibility. Right now I'm using an 1100 lumen light and it's ok. I think if i got another that bright for my helmet i would be set on lights. 12000 seems crazy like it'll burn holes in the leaves lol
Any chance you could have a look at the Magicshine EVO 1700? I recognize its not designed for the trail riding, but the high beam setting on it might work well on the trials. I'm all about the self contained, no external battery set up!
imo, every modern non-specialist bike should allow for a removable battery for powering gadgets, even if it's not an e-bike; there's plenty of space for that inside the frame.
Awesome review as always thanks!!!This light looks amazing the price not so much.On my emtb's I've had good luck running supernova lights which use the ebike battery for power.I paid 400.00cdn at bike24 in germany for the mini pro.Cheers!!!
2000 might be just enough if youre' not going too fast. But the advantage of more powerful lights is also that you can go longer if you don't use them at max power output.@@woduk
this costs 519$?! you can find EXACTLY this flashlight for 25-40$ on the 2 most popular chinese markets i cant mention because the youtuber put it on a badword filter. this is a shopify reseller charging 15-25x the price he paid for a flashlight LoveMTB you should shame yourself for promoting such a reseller shop
Have you ordered bot lights to compare them, i would like to see your reviewon bot lights? Sure pictures on the internet are always exact right? Maybe before you go and tell people off, be 1000% sure of what your talking about.
Do not buy this light. I have the 8000 and it can't be trusted and has failed me continuously. Cheap cables will not hold up to any outdoor pursuit. Avoid and save yourself the headache, missed rides and getting stranded in the dark.

Nice combo!🤘

Yeah pretty much our experience! 😉
I'm using 1000 lumens light for night bike riding, and is efficient for me. That light is crazy 12000 lumens. Cheers from Porto City, Portugal ✌🏼🇵🇹🚲💪🏼

I've got the 6500S which is excellent, never did I think that you'd need more. I'm definitely gonna get one of these at some point.
Thanks for sharing!

Good point!👍
wow, I have a fenix at 2200 lumens and here 12000, this is some kind of monster)
Crazy, i dont need that many lumens but I sure want that many 😂

😂💯 12000 is overkill but you would bet it for long runtime. I am ok with a 6000 or so but would never install a tethered light on my helmet
@@LoveMTB lol no I meant if I got another 1,100 for my helmet

FUnny you say that I was eyeing it for our gravel/ road as I like the under the bar look. I might have that in the near future 😉
I definitely want this light... just tell me which county I have to move into to be able to afford it.

Love that idea! If not a battery like this one as plenty of juice🙂
There are some frames with an internal storage compartment: the opening is a massive weak point (some crack in the corners there).
Would be great. Anyway, for now, since I have four bottle cages, I use one 750ml bottle as a sealed container for four 16850s.

Thanks Glenn!
And yes I assume for an eBike that's a no brainer
Great video, I’ll see what other lights they make and prices
A friend had a Gemini Titan 4000 lumens light years ago that was ridiculously bright. What is the ideal lumens light for night riding in forests 2000?

3000 lumen magicshine review it? It can for road bike?
I have that reviewed a year ago, I'll link it in the description, it is already a card in the video.
Nice review, just an idea, because you have the best tire reviews could you review the new continentals ? thanks friendly
Have a pair already😉
I just bought that light a day ago and just tried the app today and now my light will not work at all and the directions suck. Can you help me out?
So where do you send it too if you have a warranty issue. China
Pretty much
Careful sir, you might burn your bike cables with the flashlight aim the cables. I did burn my sofa with 2000ish lumens flashlight.
Battery 2!! Pounds! Hahahahahha
It’s up there for sure👍
8x 2170!! With that Amount of Energy, i can RIDE!!! my Bike 20 MILES! hahhahaha!
Moth inhalation time ha ha 🦋
U should look into putting a Bafang mid motor on ur bike
Naah no need
Wow $799 cad for a light, no thanks.
It gets up there eh?
At this price I'd expect a lifetime warranty.
It's probably because of the battery nobody would provide lifetime for a battery@@LaurentiusTriarius
We will cover the tax for the shipment to Canada at no extra cost. May I know from which store you get the price of $799?
wow $500 +
Yo soy amigo de #noecillo
How this video released 1 hour ago have 49k likes and 318 views. RUclips is sick?
WHere can I get the 49k views in 1h???😆

I’ll do better next time😊

I can only find it for 475$ from china, and then 25% vat import😖
Please stop riding at night for fun in the forest. Especially in winter month animals need to rest.
You know a lot of animals are actually more active at night? Most predators hunt at night
We only ride in a small % of the woods, and the animals are clever enough to avoid these parts.
@@wonderwatch2239 Just don't do it. It's not selfish, easy, respectful and really kind to do it. 😉
