A lot of people seem to have absolutely no idea since they haven't gone to college - Colleges take advantage of students financially, hardcore. Every year they have new versions of books that teach the same thing. I'm talking every. single. book. It's done so you'll pay HUNDREDS for a book. I'v paid over 400 for a college book. It's insane. You have to have the correct version for the class too because although it's the exact same stuff the exercises are slightly different or have different problems of the same exact context from the year before. It's a racket.
Fix all that corruption and I'd agree with you 100%.
People don't realize the scams. Meal passes end up being like $30 a meal easy. Dorms are insane. The government doesn't pay that much out in loans. It's private corporations 'Sallie Mae' and they start with %3 interest and then immediately hike it to %15! It is insane.
You're right, it's a racket, just like everything in a despotism, that's why people are joining the Union Movement, only way to get real representation and positive change, is through collective bargaining - using the power to strike together to protect our rights.
