Sorry for not posting music for a while, I've been working on a couple of projects that I can't release in publicly yet but I will in the future!
I don't usually do remixes but I've wanted to do this one for a very long time, Donkey Kong Country has always been one of my favorite childhood games and I've always loved the music in the game so much!
I wrote this one by ear while listening to the original version, I tried my best to keep the same instruments and progression but I did make a few slight changes to make it a bit interesting ;)
I'm not the original composer of this song, all rights go to David Wise and Nintendo / Rare

I used to run a laser tag arena. I had a Gang-Plank Galleon remix that would play during matches. People LOVED it. I can only imaged how much they would have loved this mix! Great work!

Incredible remix, though I would consider it more of a remaster, it sounds like what the song was meant to be if the SNES had better hardware.

Teleporting TNT27 I guess either people think it's better to leave untouched something already perfect and not try to remake it (not that I agree with that thinking) or Nintendo just doesn't feel like it and doesn't allow anyone else to do it. Probably the latter, unfortunately.
Steroids Freak Yes. Also, I noticed that in 0:28 it jumps straight to the heavy riffs, while in the original it has my favorite part, with just the bass riff and a single guitar note fading in, before that part in 0:31. But I'm pretty sure this was what Rare was aiming for at the time, but got limited by the SNES capabilities. But still, like you said, the original is always gonna be instant nostalgia for the fans.
why does every "BEST REMIX EVER" have to include some disgusting electric guitar?

Here’s my idea of a post credits scene for the new Mario movie:
We cut to a close up of Donkey Kong’s island, then we zoom out from the island to reveal that someone’s looking through it with some binoculars. We then hear a deep, growling sinister voice. “Grrrr… this must be the place.” It’s King K. Rool and his Kremling crew! King K. Rool (in Jemaine Clement's voice) says “GRAH HA HA HA HA! Alright then, crew! Let’s get to work!” K. Rool and his crew jump out of their ship with this theme playing in the background, then we fade out.
I think it should be separate to the Mario movie and cast John Goodman as Donkey and John Tuturro as Diddy, with Ian McShane as King K.Rool.

This is the song Seth Rogan's DK goes fist to fist against K-Rool in my head in the future Donley Kong solo movie now that the Mario movie proved to be successful.
I was cleaning my room when I suddenly got the original song for this stuck in my head, I thought it would be nice to see if anyone thought of a remix for this. Thanks for satisfying my thoughts!!!

Yo you gotta check out the restored Sountrack. Its fucking incredible. And yeah this is one of the most lit remixes. My workout playlist is metal Remixes of the Dk soundtrack, Halo, MGS, TSFH and Audiomachine that have a similar vibe and intensity as this

When I started listening to this I was like "I love the sea shore sound effects and it sounds piratey in a good way" but then 0:30 happened and I went "Daaaaaaamn, this is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!"

dave wise, the composer has stated that he was inspired by Iron maiden when he came up with this track. which explains the "galloping" tripplets
