Elvis on the Viola! Scott Dickinson plays Edward McGuire's 'Prelude 6'

On March 3rd 1960 , Elvis Presley took his only steps on British soil during a two hour military-tour-of-duty stopover at Glasgow’s Prestwick Airport.
Twenty one years later, Eddie McGuire drew on childhood memories to write this “ Prelude 6 “ for viola playing Presley fan Stephen Shakeshaft . Heartbreak Hotel , Love Me Tender, Wooden Heart , Jailhouse Rock and Teddy Bear , stand beside a much more ominous reference to the Vietnamese liberation front song “Free the South".
