Congrats on the vehicle. Make sure you join the forums for LR vehicles - plenty to choose from. The second row of seats have two heights. You can also remove the head restraints and then the seats will fold completely flat to the load floor, giving you about 6ft 3 inches from closed tailgate to the rear of the front seats - you could car camp with it.
I have an 08 LR3 HSE - mine has only 64k miles. Issues have only been control arm bushings - common issue and front wheel bearings. Rest has just been wear items - brakes etc.
The other suggestion would be to get the IDTool - OBD II programmer/reader - Atlantic British sells them. If the vehicle for whatever reason goes into limp mode, it's the easiest way to clear the issue and get you home.
