As far as I've heard, they shelfed the ocean idea. They had some massive problems with performance and had to give up on it. But it hopefully becomes a thing in the future.
The large engine reminds me of the F-1B, the engine for a liquid booster concept for SLS. The idea would have been to look at the F-1, examine it's design and philosophy, and make an engine based off of that, with modern technology. I believe they did a gas generator test, but thats as far as it got.
Maybe venus and back too, by landing on the highest point to avoid the atmosphere will be possible, given a amazingly engineered rocket. By my testing, landing at maxwell Montes saves around 40 tons of a lander.

The single 2 engine seems quite similar to the rd 191 engine that powers the Angara a5 rocket

That could be true. I also thought of a vulcain 1 from the ariane 5

No, that would be extremely unlikely.
Can you do tutorials on hard mode?
I can, but most would be impossible without the parts expansion, so kind of against my philosophy with making tutorials.

Yes, you basically buy the expansions. They even cost the same as the Steam version.

While I would really want an ocean update too, other things are important too. Staging for example made a lot of rockets easier to fly.
