As a 17yo myself, i was amazed to see these guys.
The questions were tough indeed. Wish i was a part aswell. Although i missed 3-4 questions but am proud i could answer like 90% of the questions without options.

No matter the winner, they are ahead of 99% of their age. Let me explain why, for a working adult, or someone in their early 20s in college, these are very simple/common questions they will come across. But for under 18 kids, the knowledge is something they have awareness beyond their age requires. So no matter what, if they play the right dice, they'll alway be finacialy well established

No. It is beta, coz corelation gives u weather 2 stocks r increasing or decreasing w.r.t each other. But beta gives u the accurate measure I.e weather 2 stocks r increasing or decreasing and by how much (with certainty) ,.

If infosys beta is 1.5 to market it means if market moves 1 % up or down, then stock moves 1.5% up or down. It never shows relation between two stocks

Actually questions were nice but to really judge options could be a bit harder it was quite easy to get through option analysis and elimination and many times due to one team giving wrong other team got a high chance which generally shouldnt happen

Conclusion:- Big school may have high quality syllabus ,more extra circular activity and infrastructure but the students are not even eligible to ans simple question which any student who is aware about finance and had learned basics can answer.

hey, anyone can explain the answer Beta came up?
The more proper answer is "Correlation" as the question was "Relationship" between two Assets / Asset Classes. Beta is a measure of the "Sensitivity' of a security to the broader market (like Nifty) or any other market Factor. Basically, Beta of say 1.2 for a stock, means that if Nifty rises by 1%, the expected rise in Stock price will be 1.2%. In short Beta is a Risk measurement tool not for measuring relationship.
