Waldegraves Holiday Park - Mersea Island Essex. UK Touring Holiday Stays

Here we take a trip to the motorhome touring site at Waldegraves Holiday Park on Mersea Island in Essex. The extremely popular Waldegraves Holiday Park offers one of the top UK touring holiday stays caters for tourers such as motorhomes, campervans and caravans as well as tents. Waldegraves also has static caravans for holiday next to the sea and offers some static caravans for sale.
We have stayed twice at waldegraves in our Elddis CV40 on a touring pitch that includes electric and water with half hardstanding and half gravel. There are very many touring pitches in the upper fields at waldegraves that can take larger touring vehicles.
Waldegraves is great for family holidays with all its avaiulable activities including an outdoor swimming pool, sports bar, family games rooms, childrens play area, restaurants and shops.

We have stayed here many times but now only early or late season. The staff are excellent, The bar and restaurant are good and the site very well maintained. BUT....absolutely awful at Bank Holidays and during the summer holiday period. We have never stayed anywhere where the campers have so little respect for your pitch space letting their children run riot all over the place.

Hi Michael, thanks for sharing your experience of Waldegraves. We have only stayed there twice and have had a similar experience to yourself on one of them which was over the bank holiday. It was a little rowdy in the club in the evening also. Agree with all your positives, good advice for others who may wish to visit at quieter periods.
