This is the condition of the goods of the faber company. Very sweet language is used when selling. But when the goods are defective, all the promises are forgotten. There is no control over these companies. However they make an advertisement and show it. Nobody measures his criteria. This is a danger to the family in the interest of looking good. The kitchen is such a hob. Thank you for making this video.

Good thing u told about Faber.we were thinking of buying one. Thanks for sharing madam even Glen stove with auto ignition and 4 burners is a disaster I also recommend people not to go for Glen stove one burner doesnot work ar all.the big burner does not sit completely on the groove so that flames can be seen outside the burner .so kindly think many times before we buy stoves all the new brands are not that good.old is gold

I have seen this problem reported by customers using faber, elica and prestige as well. This should not happen as it can cause a serious injury to anyone. And so many complaints on faber customer care. Not sure if there is any brand providing 100% safety and good service.

To be honest, i bought faber heatkraft in 2003 June and believe me you its still functioning. I want to change the hob because it looks outdated design, probably because its stainless steel. But honestly i did have apprehensions of this company since long. but never once its caused any issues. But one factor i must mention is that its knobs do get burnt and had to change it twice from local technicians, they are not heat resistant.
I am not a fan of Faber and had bought it because it had a very good space between the gas burners for bigger vessels and now intend to buy Kaff :)

The glass can break 2 reason one heat and cold or tempered glass getting hit from the edge . tempered glass do not cause damage still 1 thing is right professional approach that really sucks

I have same faber model. It cracked last week in same fashion as shown. Sadly model is out of production, so no glass replacement. No other model from other brands fit in that cut. No option but to extend granite cut and put in a new hob.

Glen was last on my list and 2nd last was faber.
My first preference is either Bosch or Kaff.
Ps. You can change your hob on the same granite I guess. If you like to know if it's possible, let me know the dimensions(inner cut and outer) of your hob or the faber model you are using now

Thank you for your kind words. It was a truly harassing experience, not just the incident itself but also the after sales attitude of the company. Basis my research and if you check google, you will find that none of the other premium brands in cooking hobs have this problem. But there is a string of consumer complaints against Faber regarding this. The model was 465 SSP.
