That's a pretty nice feature to add in, when the day comes i'll have to port my MaGMML Sprites and of course i'll try to rework them to match with the game's style, keep going with the nice job and dont overwork tho, health is a priority

Oh, this is a really, really cool feature. The custom skin function MAGMML had was already cool, and this is like that but even better! I'd probably end up making a bunch of Robot Masters or characters from other games like Beck or Gunvolt.

@@MrVibbyyyyy i mean that the way you use points to edit a character and can change a bunch of paramaters are similar to how the weapon edit works in MGB
I was thinking of making Haruhi Suzumiya also a Glass Cannon, she would be extra quick with Bass Movement options, but taking 1.5x damage as an offset, but would have a non-charge shot buster but trading off that for slightly above average buster power
Not fully sure what you mean, but you can have default melee which does 30 damage by default or the standard 10 on armored states and it deflects projectiles.
@@MikeCrain he might meant that he have a shield as his starter weapon(he said melee maybe mean that you cant shoot your shield as a projectile so you basically playing as zero with a 360 degree attack that maybe can absorb bullet?)

Perhaps! This looks really neat, though! I can't sprite for beans, but I wonder if I could come up with some money to get someone to sprite something up for me...

Yes they change depending on the traits you give your character, but are they actually used in some way in the game (like preventing characters whose point values exceed a certain threshold from being able to be created, or locking achievements behind certain point totals), or is it simply a just-for-fun measure of a character's power?
Achievements in this remake actually have a point beyond bragging rights in that each one gives you more starting trait points for all your Custom Men.

Character creator, eh? I think, if RoahmMythril wants it, he can actually play as Dragon Man (his Robot Master skin somebody made for him). But, anyways. Really cool feature. Definitely opens a lot of Endless Possibilities to create characters (sorry for Sonic song reference, I played too much games with Blue Blur. XD)
If you're playing no lives mode, you lose a percentage of bolts based on difficulty picked and have a chance to recover them. Unlike Shovel Knight, this game actually cares about you being able to get them back with them only ever flying to the last place you stood.
In theory it will be doable but very brutal because my friend has made it to Sondebar 1 thus far in Mr. Perfect difficulty. There are no negative traits affecting mobility in such a way to become less capable in jumps and such than Mega Man.
@@hornygiantess like I think the worst ammo usage trait is not only do weapons use up ammo, but just having them equipped causes them to drain ammo. lol so it definitely won't be easy.

Unlocking achievements increases the base points for all characters.
This idea is very cool. I don't think there are any other games that do this. I hope the project gets complete. I don't care how long it takes.

Those are your limits and a way of balancing characters.

What's with the floating bolts when you die?
