Thank you very much my friend! Indeed some of is applicable to the CKA as well. Keep up the good work and all the best of luck with your studies and exam!

Hi, how is its difficulty level compared to CKA? I’ve done CKA and CKAD past two years, just to give me a challenge to study kubernetes (I’m not working on k8s) and they were feasible with a month of study and working on my personal lab. Now I’m thinking about taking CKS before my CKA expires
I'm going to sit for the CKA later in the week and plan to take them all through the year. I'm currently unemployed and looking for work. As much as it matters does prioritizing the CKAD over the CKS sound prudent? In the US market, I see CKA, and CKAD listed under the nice to haves more than CKS.
I got my CKA Oct 2022, just did my CKAD 3 weeks ago-CKAD is super easy compared to CKA IMHO. IMHO if you're focusing on supporting SWEs or working as a SWE touching K8s then CKAD is more pertinent. If you're a DevOps/Cloud engineer focusing on managing clusters or a platform, then CKA is more pertinent. CKS would be the next level really on top of CKA since you need it as a prerequisite anyway. Hope this helps.
@@mugensekai thanks for the reply. Finished the CKA and, yeah, this CKAD material is both fun, it’s so relevant, and like you say, it’s easy. Just to expand on your thoughts: Had a call with a recruiter today and he felt an AWS Architect - or - Azure equivalent plus the CKS (or kubestraunat) would be a clear long term signal as to what I do, but that short term either of those cloud certs now after the CKA is best use of my time. My background being cloud infra. CKAD is next for me.
I would agree with the recruiter. I'm doing CKS next while I have some of the muscle memory of kubectl in mind, as we work with Argo and CICD for deployments and not kubectl. I did my AWS Solutions Architect Associate, it's not bad, but I think the real depth goes into Professional based on what I do day to day. Best of luck.
I only have the easy ones left but haven't bothered yet. It's a fun goal but honestly it's just a way for the Linux Foundation to earn some extra cash, which is fine
18:30 you just specify a podSelector and omit the namespaceSelector.
Great video mischa, I have mine tomorrow. Thanks for the Help!!
Best of luck! You got this.

CKS is MUCH more difficult than CKA(D)
I'm going to sit for the CKA later in the week and plan to take them all through the year. I'm currently unemployed and looking for work. As much as it matters does prioritizing the CKAD over the CKS sound prudent? In the US market, I see CKA, and CKAD listed under the nice to haves more than CKS.
CKS is a whole different ball game than CKA and CKAD. It depends on your goals, but the best is to get them all.

@@mischavandenburg thank you. CKA is done. CKAD is coming up, so far it’s both very relevant and fun. It will be a nice break before the CKS.

What do u think of kubestronaut?
I only have the easy ones left but haven't bothered yet. It's a fun goal but honestly it's just a way for the Linux Foundation to earn some extra cash, which is fine
Nice video thank you!
