Fun fact: In the Latin Spanish audio, it includes music to accompany all the scenes. I thought it was the original music of the movie, until I saw the movie with the original audio in English and discovered that there was no music in the original audio. That's also heard in the Frankenstein movie.

Dwight Frye always got jacked up!! Rolled down a mile of stairs in Dracula. Strung up to hang in Frankenstein! Then, he resurrected in Bride of Frankenstein only to get tossed 100 stories to his death by the monster!!! Hope he had good burial insurance 😅😅😅
@@matthewlillardistheshit You should see his character in the "The Vampire Bat" movie from 1933. That one's public domain. Sadly, he died of a heart attack in his 40s, and he also didn't want to be typecast.
Ironically renfield being Dracula’s servant kind of made him “kinder”. All he ever killed were insects and rodents, nobody I know would feel guilty for killing flies and rats.
Its too bad Dracula couldn't have been killed first, then the spell he had on Renfield would have been broken and he'd have returned to normal, and imagine his reaction after being told he'd been living on a steady diet of rats and spiders.
To me It always looked like those finger nails went straight into his throat kind of like a strangle but with sharp nails included. I think this because towards the last part of his scream you hear his voice kinda skip/break if that makes any sense
Since this is an adaptation of the stage play that Bela had starred in, I guess that is where they made Renfield the estate agent who travels to Transylvania instead of Harker. I guess they couldn't figure out a way to explain why Harker doesn't go completely insane after what he sees there, or how to explain how Dracula has such power over an inmate of an asylum he's never met.
Thanks for the upload !! "Punish me. Tourture me .But PLEASE dont KILL..ME !! Classic Line !!!
When it was originally shown in the theaters they cut out Renfield's scream. Censors felt it was too disturbing.
Wow! Back in the 1930s?

Same in the Italian dubbing
This is just incredible! No CGI, no crazy score (though I hear one was made), just pure horror!

The original father of all vampires Bela Lugosi count Dracula
Dwight Frye was a good actor. You can hear the fear of hell in his voice
I personally feel in some ways he was just as much of a scene stealer as Lugosi was.

Dwight Frye was the GOAT
@@101Volts He's in the Great Beyond, reunited with his friend and fellow actor Bela Lugosi.

Epic battle
Not much of a battle, really.
Oh my
Bela Lugosi era lindooooo
10 min gang
I can see this performed on the stage.
Dracula needs to get a new housekeeper, his joint could use a decent clean.
I’m so glad I own all the old monster movies, especially the original Spanish version of this movie
Is that the non -Copywrited version ?? .
It's the border jumper edition
@@MrCraigblaze no it’s the actual Spanish version lol. The movie was reshot in English
@@DisasterMaster3K I didn’t say Mexican version

1:32 Golden Chainsaw.
What up
I want to say that is Dracula home and he lives there and he actually bites it.
Man I remembered some of the old stuff and I always like them better in color
Makes you wonder how they'd LOOK in color.
@@Angie2343 yeah that’s what they make me think and sometimes they can be remade into color like I’ve seen before
Renfield was a fool!
Glad he got offed!😵💫🤣🤣
😂😂

To me It always looked like those finger nails went straight into his throat kind of like a strangle but with sharp nails included. I think this because towards the last part of his scream you hear his voice kinda skip/break if that makes any sense
Also no one screams like that when being strangled. That's a scream of being torn apart ☠️
Wasn’t renfield scream silenced in 1938?
Why are you terrified of using question marks?❔?❓?
Yes.
