While we are a little bit biased towards our dripper, I'm sure with practice, attention to detail and some good beans you'll be able to make a great cup with either :]
Hi, I just got my Blue Bottle Dripper and I'm super excited to start brewing with it. I'm just not sure about the Grind size I should start with. I'm using 1ZPresso JX-Pro hand grinder. How many clicks should I set my grinder for getting best results?
We feel it is a good place to start but every coffee and brew method will respond differently to grind setting in addition to changes in recipe and preferred strength. The best bet is to pick a starting point (they have a handy guide under the lid of the Ode) and then make changes based on how you like the flavor.
Love the moccamaster in the background!
I'm confused on whether to get this 1 or the Fellow Stagg!!!!

U use ode grinder dial 7 for your coffee?
We typically go a little more fine, closer to 5, but every grinder is different and suggest you adjust based on taste.
@@bluebottlecoffee4527 I saw your Grinder was on dial 7. That’s why I ask. I usually do 2-3 for ode. That’s why I was curious
@@bluebottlecoffee4527 thanks so much for the information. I just tried your coffee and use dial 5. The taste is so good :)

I noticed in the video that you had your fellow ode set to 7. Is this a good general starting point on the Ode for all coffees or just certain ones?
