You can get max 3+1 crates
Average is 1.5 crates. (this makes the crates $5,000 per)

Personally I think that this particular method is best for relatively regular players and who have already several (up to 5) large warehouses. What it enables is - you can do this every evening for example when you play the game. Each evening once or twice, depending on how much time you have for playing. And fill warehouses up to 70-ish crates each (not more, because from there on raid-counter starts)! Then wait for a week in which CEO crates are on double money and then collect rest of the crates manually and - sell them for insane profit!
It is so called "long-game" money-method. Not for players who need money right now! What I like about this new update is just this - it diversifies moneymaking a lot. There is no longer one and only moneymaking method worth doing. Now many different approaches can be taken, depending on how much time you can spend in game, how regular player you are, are you new player or "old-timer"...

Good guide. Definitely the most overlooked/underrated part of the update. I start Mixed Goods then go to each warehouse on the way to the docks, picking up the truck on the way. I did some rough math and for the time spent you can make upwards of 900k/hr this way w large warehouses and still over 400k just doing the 9-crate method, I do a mix w 2 large 2 small and a medium, I'm considering trading one of the small for a medium but I like my route.
FWIW myself and a few others are consistently getting 1.5 crates per source w large (100+) sample sizes.

I personally enjoy doing the crate collection while my nightclub and Biker biz are filling up. But I'll do Lupe and her crew when I drop crates off to help speed up the collection process. I only have 2 small warehouses though so it's pretty manageable. Then I'll sell those back-to-back, and by that time the bike biz needs refills and depending on where the nightclub stock is, I may sell it too. I wish they could also source cars for your vehicle warehouse. That would be a huge help filling that up.

it takes 1 in-game day for Lupe to get one cargo. To fill up a large warehouse, you need 48 x111=5328 min which is 88.8 days, which means if you play non stop and manage to get lupe to source cargo at the exact time she is done it will take you more than 2 months to fill up a warehouse. lol good luck

Should I sell a large wearhouse or take easy missions and sell at around 12 crates?

1 ingame day is 48 minutes
Even with the best scenario and maximum effort for a warehouse where you always get 3 crates, you would still have to visit Lupe 37 times, even if you do this 24/7 non stop without missing a single second before you pay for your next shipment, this will translate to 48 min x 37 = 1776 minutes or roughly 30 hours, that is 30 hours of constant nonstop work which obviously is unrealistic. And even if what I have described is the best mathematical scenario it is still not worth it
And since the most likely scenario is to average 2 crates per delivery you would need to visit and pay lupe 56 times at least for a full warehouse this process is absolutely stupid
I dont know why you keep saying it is worth it, when if you do the nerfed cayo perico solo every 3 days which is 30 times less effort you would earn double of that
Yes it is passive income, but it is not that passive, it keeps dragging you back to the warehouse for every goddamn transaction and for an average of 56 goddamn times
on what planet is that worth it ???

Let's do some math, on average we get about 1.5 crates from Lupe, that means we need to go over to talk to her 74 times to fill up our warehouse, lets say we take about 2 minutes to fly over talk to her and fly to where ever we need to go next, thats 148 minutes or about 2.5 hours to make 1.65mill
    (111c / 1.5c = 74 * 7,500$ = 555,000$ - 2,220,000$ = 1,650,000$)
Thats about 660k an hour which is decent but it's a pretty repetetive task and there are better money making method. If you wait to sell it untill theres a boost on special cargo sell missions you can sell it for a lot more especially if you then also manage to do it in a lobby with other people. Though these boosts are very rare so the money would just sit in there for a long time.

You're right, it's a great passive way to make money. The only downside to it really is that 48 minute timer. Going with just Lupe to fill your crates, it's going to take a very long time for a large warehouse, a very long time. If you can have 5 large warehouses, and there is a Lupe at every one, then you could potentially have 5 sourcing runs going in the same time as 1 sourcing run. I would suggest running a Headhunter mission before paying Lupe, it can offset the cost of paying, and Headhunter can be a quick easy job under 3 minutes.
I try to use Lupe in addition to sourcing crates, and I use a small warehouse since I do it solo and it keeps the number of vehicles down. I'm wondering if using her to source crates, with the player sourcing crates now and then, while waiting for the bunker to fill up, and importing/exporting cars is still worth it.....that might be interesting for a video. Thanks for the info, and for putting in the work to figure things out, you've got another subscriber.

This update got me back into GTA Online. My current loop has me pick up the mixed cargo sell mission from my executive office at Maze Bank, go to my warehouse at Derriere (what? I like to run a lean operation), get Lupe to source cargo, and then hop on the truck and get a net profit of 42,500 by driving it to the Terminal.
Then I'll spend the 48 minutes timer doing payphone hits, Agency contracts and delivering Auto Shop cars and the occasional Exotic Export that will pop up on the map. If I feel like it I'll even run the Union Depository, IAA or Lost contracts for an easy 150-300k, too. And in the meanwhile my Nightclub will net me a steady 50k from the legal side of the business, and will accumulate stock in the basement.
A short evening of no-sweat playing will get me a couple easy mil. I am sure there are far more efficient strats, but honestly I don't care much.

I honestly hated trying to source crates the old way. As a result, even when it was double money, I rarely did so. Biker businesses and the bunker have always been my go to for grinding simply because I can buy my supplies, kick back and do whatever, and wait for the product to be made, then sell. With the addition of the payphone hits, I've developed a technique of going to the bunker, buying new supplies, selling, do a quick payphone hit, then up to a biker business, buy and sell from there, rinse and repeat until I have sold rom all four. Check the nightclub, sell from there if I have a special order, then head back to the bunker. Now that we have Lupe, I can stop by the warehouse, get her to go grab some crates for me, then start my routine. Check back with her periodically to source more crates, and when it gets full, sell from that.

This is definitely one of the best parts of the new update. It's gotten me back into crates after staying away from them for so long.
If you want to make it a little less effort to visit all of your warehouses to order stock while also maintaining profit, the optimal setup now would be to have all four large warehouses in the La Mesa area (Darnell Bros, Logistics Depot, Wholesale Furniture, Cypress), plus Walker and Sons. This puts all five of your large warehouses close to the Terminal.
The reason that's a good thing is the new Mixed Goods mission you start from the Office always begins at one of your warehouses, then always sends you to the terminal, plus it earns you $50K. You can start a Mixed Goods mission, drop off the goods at the Terminal quickly, then head north in almost a straight line to visit each of the five warehouses and order goods. The $50K you just earned will pay for ordering $37,500 worth of crates while also making you a little profit.
As a bonus, the La Mesa arcade is in the area too, so if you own the MCT you can use that as a spot to begin crate missions to fill the warehouses faster,
