Gotta wonder if Pete Buttigieg came up with the railroad across the oceans idea? I'm sure the cost never entered into the discussions - after all it's just other people's money. This is a great plan if you are trying to figure out how to spend hundreds of TRILLIONS of dollars for a project that would never be used. But just think of the contributors that would clean up of the project and then shell out money to Congress and the President. It would make the previous graft with Ukraine and China seem paltry. The great thing is, the contractors would never even have to complete the project to get paid - just like all the other social programs that seem able to lose hundreds of millions of dollars and accomplish nothing.
