He doesn't have a DSS, he can't directly subdue demons, other than his lineage he is an average human being And yet he was able to make demons his allies, defeat powerful foes and MAKE ENTITIES LIKE THE HITOSHURA RUN FOR THEIR LIVES (okay sure, he was still not at his peak but he was already very strong). And this is why i consider him the most capable human being in the SMT multiverse.
Yeah, but in P4's world "Devil Summoner" was a movie, right? Nocturne put every single SMT game in one canon. Which is pretty neat. I sorta forgot how, but it was in Lucifer's little speech about multiple parallel universes.

Right. It's because The Conception isn't limited to one world, but it encompases the "rules" of the SMT world. It's not as simple as just a "rebirth." Thus Lucifer's speech implies that, during The Conception, every parallel world combines into a single state of limbo for a complete reinterpretation. What effect this had previously is, of course, unknown and unimportant.
I love this theme shoji meguro is my favorite game muscian out there :) I agree with what you said about the style sounding like a cross of DDS which is a good thing since DDS OST was a masterpiece, damn i wish this was on the music works, do you have any links for download at all?
Yeah if i recall they had a Kuzanoha detective agency in Persona 2, and of course the P4 refrance Their are more little nods of evidence but i cannot think of them as of now XD
It might be because I'm a history buff, but DSKRvtSA is one of my favorite MegaTens. The new Persona games are amazing enough to bring the series into the mainstream, but Raidou, DDS, and Nocturne are closer to "old school" MegaTen. (That being said, P3 and P4 are two of the best in the series.)

I hadn't even heard this before today and thought it was some epic battle theme from like P5 or something. If THIS is the standard battle theme, I may have to actually track this game down based on its soundtrack alone.
practically EVERY shin megami tensei OST is crazy man. Try battle "b2" and "A3" from Shin Megami Tensei 4, or "Reason Battle" from Shin Megami Tensei 3, OR "Hunting Betrayal" from SMT Digital Devil Saga 2, Or "battle Ryu Ko So Haku" from Shin Megami Tensei 5. I guarantee you I have recommended tracks all equally as banger as this one.

I KNEW I heard this theme before. It was in on the 3DS game SMT Devil Summoner Soul Hackers, in the second part of the special battle vs Raidou!!!
It makes sense because of the Kuzonoha Detective Agency in Persona 2. And that girl who works there is a Devil Summoner.
