    Thanks Tony. Didn’t realize non-members could play that course. A truly beautiful course.

      At least for now...I think they may go back strictly private at some point. Get out there while you can!

    That was a beautiful golf course. I like the flat fairways. Uphill, downhill, and side hill lies are tough on me.
    I enjoyed watching you play and strike the ball really good!

      I think the camera flattens out the fairways...several of my shots were uphill, downhill and sidehill lies. Not extreme though. I love the huge greens! My course is a 1934 Donald Ross course with tiny greens to make up for the shorter yardages.

    Beautiful course, Now is the time to play there. in the fall you have to hit them straight and keep them on the short grass or bring a lot of balls when all those oak leaves are on the ground. Looking forward to the Breaking 80 round, I’d have to be on the forward tees not the tips!

    Thanks for the video. Curious, why did you play from the White Tees, in the other course video I watched you played from the blues? What is your thought on which set of tees someone should play from?

      I normally play from the regular men's tees but sometimes play the back tees when playing alone (my buddies won't go back there). I like the added challenge and still have enough length to do it. I'm 70 but don't want to move up to the "senior" until I "get old", lol.
      I think everyone, regardless of age, should play from the tees that they have fun from. It is a game for enjoyment, after all.

    Hello Eric, hope your having a good day! Do you live in Forest Oaks? If you do you may know the people name Sharon and Joe Elekes. They are my grandparents and they live in that neighborhood on Kent bury circle. Hope you have a great day 😊😊

      Thanks...I assume you're talking to me but my name is Tony. I don't live there but love to play there, it's one of my most favorite courses! I live an hour south in Sanford. Thanks for asking!

      Thank you! I credit Kirk Junge and his Setup 4 Impact swing for my game, best golf of my life at ...age 70 next month!

      @@GeezerTony You are Blessed my Man,,,,,those drives and those scores are SUPERB!! Btw,,,,you may already know this,,,,,,but from a guy that watches hundreds of golf swing videos,,,,,,,,you have a slight tendency to aim a little right and it subconsciously makes you put a pull on your shot at the bottom,,,,,BUT,,,,,you seem to have it timed just right and pull it right down the pin -----thx !!!!!

      @@PARDS2 Thanks Pard! You are correct, I do tend to align a little right and I am aware of it. Part of it how it looks on video is because of the camera angle, I have to have the camera a bit to the right of straight on for the shot tracer...and also I do stand with a slightly closed stance on most all full shots. So it's not a much as it appears in the videos. (and I don't always score that well, it was a very good day!)

    Six under great round. I'm guessing the new Ping driver will be staying in the bag.

      Maybe, we'll have to see later (after this hurricane) if it goes any farther and if I can find out why I have to deviate from normal to keep it from going right. I hit my G400 Max very well so I'm thinking about switching shafts which would require a tip change. I may end up just keeping the G400.

    Hey Tony, I'm curious...how often do you play golf? How many games per year...ballpark?

    • @GeezerTony
      @GeezerTony  Месяц назад

      Probably somewhere around 80-100? 2-3 times a week in season and maybe 3 times a month during winter...I won't play if it's below 50 degrees!

    • @KT-wr2ow
      @KT-wr2ow Месяц назад

      @@GeezerTony Okay thanks, it makes sense now why you're so good at the game! Have you always been this good at golf, or do you credit this to Setup for Impact? I'm trying to decide if I should adopt this swing. I only get out about once every two weeks, and despite me being very athletic, and having golfed for the last 15 years, my consistency is a mess...and I'm trying to figure out if a structured swing like S4I would help me shoot close to par, or if I should just give up and come to grips knowing that the only way to shoot par is if I play several times per week. Thoughts?

    • @GeezerTony
      @GeezerTony  Месяц назад

      @@KT-wr2ow Well I think you probably will never shoot par on a consistent basis playing only a couple of times per month. That being said, I am sure it will improve you greatly over whatever you're scoring now....especially if you are athletic. As for me, I was a good played when young with a homemade unorthodox swing. When I neared the age of 60, that didn't work any more because it took a lot of athleticism, strength, balance, hand0eyr coordination, etc, and I began to lose that as I got older. I adapted Setup 4 Impact (online version) and within 3 months I was playing really well. I truly believe the me today can beat the me of 30, 40, and 50 years old. It's easy to learn, it's structured and it works!

    • @KT-wr2ow
      @KT-wr2ow Месяц назад

      @@GeezerTony Thank you, that makes sense! My best score ever was an 82 at a forgiving course. But my average is closer to 95. I'm probably a typical weekend golfer, but I'm not willing to settle for that and I also can't golf 3 times per week, so I need to do something. I think I'll give Setup 4 Impact a try, maybe I'll start converting to this swing this winter on the simulators, then take it to the course in the spring.
